Alien: Romulus - 4K + Blu-ray + Digital

Very good. Love it!

Excellent movie in the timeline between the original Alien and the sequel Aliens. There are a lot of opinions about this movie, particularly around throwbacks to the original 2. But, if you think about it, they are not really throwbacks. In the timeline, this movie is put between the two of them, so all of the things you see in it that seem to be references to one or the other (weapons, the rescued pod from the Nostromo, etc.) all fit perfectly where they are placed. I thought this was fantastic how things were setup and the execution of this movie is near perfect. Was it the best movie ever? Not exactly, but it is pretty fantastic for what it is. I saw it in the theater first and have watched it a couple of times at home (4k Steelbook is amazing pickup!), and the more I have watched, the more of the nuances I begin to see. The feeling it evokes is similar to the first two, but seemingly what is missing from the other Alien movies. Excellent addition to the Alien universe, where the first two are the strongest entries and the rest of them leave much to be desired.

Again, this order arrived in timely fashion and without any damage. It was good service. Loved watching the movie again in my living room!

It feels engineered to be enjoyable. Has some new and fresh ideas, but also makes many references to previous films in the franchise. Nothing boundary pushing or revolutionary, but fun to watch nonetheless. Left room for a sequel, so looking forward to more.

This 4K and Blu-ray disc looks and sounds fantastic. The pictures are sharp with vibrant colors, and the audio quality is clear and immersive it really makes you feel the terror of the Alien. The disc played perfectly with no issues, and the packaging arrived in great condition. A great addition to any movie and Alien collection.

I watched the movie in theater for two times when it was released a few months ago. I could not help to tap my smartphone to purchase it as soon as I learned it was available in Amazon. I am so delighted when I finally receive it. I would like to repeat such a fantastic expense received from the theater at home. I have waiting for over years since Alien: Covenant in 2017. Like all the other fans, I wonder how the new story will turn out, especially how the new story is to connect to the other prequels. The director takes us all by surprise that he simply starts a new story that connects to the first Alien movie back in 1979. Obviously, the director wants a think-out-of-the-box strategy in the new Alien movie to give a astonishing experience to audience. That simply sets him free from all the burdens for facilitating seamless connections to the two prequels. The comments over the two prequels are very extreme, some say they are brilliant but some disagree. In the new movie, it is a fusion of the great ingredients of all the previous Alien movies that makes it one of the great work in the hall of fame in the Alien series. In this movie, there are many scenes and quotes inspired by the other previous movies. They are connecting to each other seamlessly, plus other new elements in the movie, a thrilling experience is created for the audience. It is the movie you should not miss. I hope you will enjoy it as I do.

Weyland corporation runs the mining company that everyone works for. A group of young Weyland colonizers scavenging the deep ends of a derelict space station, come face to face with hell. They hope to steal the cryogenic pods still on the station but find out they are low on cryogenic fuel. The space station is divided into two halves-Romulus and Remus. Andy is a synthetic and is a decommissioned unit built by Weyland. The kids need his robotic clearance systems to gain access throughout the station. And so it begins, as their ship crashes into the bay of the Romulus- Hell is unleashed. To make matters worse, the station is in a countdown to an impact event. Wait-what, an Human/Alien Xenomorph.

Todo bien con la película y el steelbook, la película es buena y justo por eso quería que formara parte de mi colección. El precio me parece elevado pero es una gusto para darse.

Chegou no prazo, a edição é linda,os cd também, contém extras muito divertidos, só é uma pena não ter em português, mas isso não me incomoda tanto, a qualidade de imagem é absurda. Extremamente satisfeito

Nice addition to the Alien franchise. I didn't use a 4K TV or player but the 4k disc is still beautiful. No dings to the steelbook, which is great. Decent price for being the only retailer that sells in Canada.
