KOBE Range Hoods INX2630SQB-700-3 Insert Range Hood, 30-Inch, Stainless Steel

This unit very quiet on the two lowest settings and moves a significant amount of air on these settings. On medium and high it gets a little loud boy not bad, you can’t move that much air without some sound. The fan assembly was loose when I unpacked the unit. I replaced the screws with bolts and locknuts. I reported the loose fan to the manufacturer and they credited me $50. Other than that the unit is built well and works great.

This is a powerful fan, it has several speeds which we have jokingly named power up, runway and takeoff. It definitely not whisper quiet but we had that with our old fan and it didn't clear the smoke and smells like this one does. It is sleek and well hidden behind the vent hood cover we made. Highly recommend.

UPDATE: Tried replacing with another unit and it was also not functioning. Missing screws in key panel and body components. Shiny on the outside but garbage construction on the inside. Out of the box the squirrel cage fan was not in alignment, causing terrible noise, wobbles, and scraping the edge of the metal frame. There is only 1 light setting and the lights aren’t very bright. Very frustrating to spend all this money and time installing a product that doesn’t even have a working fan.

Looks and works great so far. The only inconvenience was when I changed the top vent to the back. I had to figured out how to move the power cord from the top of the unit to the back. I had to cut the power cord and buy electrical cables to reinstalled the power cord to the back. The manufacture should have made easier to redirect the power cord since moving the vent from the top to the back is an option.

Love this range vent! It’s quite and easy to install! Best lighting I’ve ever had over my stove too!

Low fan speed is quiet enough that I always turn it on when cooking.

This particular model actually is described wrong and hopefully they corrected the issue. I believe it’s described as front and rear facing but it turns out it’s only faces the front if I remember my husband’s words. At any rate my husband called the company and this happened in the middle of construction. Thank goodness we lived close enough that my husband drove to Monrovia got the right item which seemed to cost more because it has more features and they didn’t charge us for the difference. I like companies that fix the issues and goes out of their way to stand behind their products and makes sure the customer is happy! We’ve installed the right model and it’s AWESOME

I ordered two of these. Both arrived broken. A large part of the bottom of the range hood (the stainless steel part that is exposed after installation) was completely broken off of the hood. It was only attached with tack welds rather then being properly welded. The broken metal was badly bent, making it impossible to fully repair. I thought maybe the first one was a fluke, so i returned for a second. It arrived in the same condition. The fan is rather noisy, but that is to be expected with a fan of this size and relatively low price point. The buttons also feel cheap. Overall, it is a nice looking range hood, but fails to deliver a satisfactory experience.

Bought this as a replacement, not yet installed, but the construction alone shows its a well built unit, not at all like the one I returned.

I received mine and the baffles are not brush stainless steel. It’s metal painted white with chipped edges. Did anyone received stainless steel baffles.
