360 feature was super stiff
loved everything expect... the 360 pan feature of this wasnt working correctly. it was so stiff and wouldnt do the 360 in a straight line. therefore, it wasnt smooth. i think it was a fault with the one i had so am now returning it because im disappointed in this. the vertical feature was amazing but not the same for the 360 feature. goes against the purpose of having a 360 feature if its not smooth and very stiff?

Great product
This is an excellent tripod for the money. Sadly one of the clasps on the legs snapped on the first day of use, so these could do with being heavy duty rubber as opposed to plastic. Otherwise very happy with this product.

Performs like a tripod costing thousands more
This tripod is heavy, yes, but its one of the reasons it performs so well, like a Sachtler (Funny, just saw one on the set of the Great British Baking Show as I was typing this) or Vinten that costs a whole lot more. Not enough weight means jerky panning and tilting, at least in my opinion. The mid-level spreader is a nice plus when setting up for a shot on uneven terrain. I greatly prefer it to a ground spreader. One of my favorite features is the ball head. The handle to loosen the ball is very large, allowing me to (balance the head and) tighten it down quickly and securely. The motion on the head is very nice, too, approaching a pricy fluid head. The clips to hold the legs together while the tripod is collapsed aren't very heavy so they'll fail with heavy use, but I've never had a tripod with these types of clips so I'm not too worried about them breaking. The rest of the tripod is very well made. The locks are sturdy. All in all, a VERY nice tripod with truly professional features at an amazingly reasonable price. I expect to get very good use and great videos out of mine. A beautiful pan is well worth the weight, always.

A LOT of tripod for not much $$
The instruction booklet is not very helpful, only 4 of the 39 pages are in English, and they don't even mention the ball head levelling adjustment which is a super nice feature that videographers will appreciate. Unlike the instructions the product itself is just awesome. The pan and tilt movements are silky smooth, and locking them down doesn't change your camera alignment making it easy to use. With the first set of legs extended it is at a good working height, with the second set extended it's above my 6' head level. The locking levers have a very positive feel and they function well. It's very stable and has some substantial weight to it. During initial unboxing it seemed to be much more massive than I'd expected. However, once I set it up the first time I was impressed with the overall build quality, and it's something I'm sure I'll be happily using for many years to come. My only complaint is that the adjustment handle has to come off to fit in the storage bag, but honestly this is a minor inconvenience for such a good product, and this really is excellent value for money.

Mein altes Stativ kann einpacken! Endlich butterweiche Schwenks ohne Wackeln
