Ok, I wasn't expecting much. I was expecting craft and student grade paint. Well, color me a fan. These are WONDERFUL paints. Affordable, lovely coverage. Paint adheres to a variety of surfaces. Vibrant colors, thins down nice. Love them! Will buy again. I am an artist for a living and these impressed me!

Colors are vibrant. Paint goes on smoothly with nice viscosity, neither too thick nor too thin. The drying time allows for blending and layering of paints. Clean up is easy with soap and water. This set of paints is a good value for the money. The size of the tubes will stretch quite a ways. The paint seems to give good coverage.

These acrylic paints are easy to apply with a paintbrush onto canvas. The colors do become a bit darker when it dries up. It covers pretty well. I like that there’s a lot of color options to choose from. What would be better is perhaps providing more white color because most of the time I would mix white with other colors to get a lighter shade. When I tried to create a color wheel, especially the purple and blue all look similar to black because of how dark it became when it dried up.

For the price these are a good addition to an artist's paint kit. These are well done pastels. Pastel colors are good for a variety of things, landscape (especially southwest America), botanical illustration, etc. These Mont Marte paints are very good budget acrylics.

I absolutely love these paints! I have multiple different brands some student some artist some craft paints and these I expected for the price per ounce to be a student quality but I would definitely put them with my golden paints and liquitex heavy body paints. First I got the pastels set and can't wait to get a set of all their colors, but I'm in love with the variety of pastels and the fact they are in 1 set is so convenient instead of having to buy individual colors to get pastels. Second the coverage you get from so little paint was great I took 2 pictures 1 showing the dab of paint I put down and the coverage of the swatch and the sat part but great is that i took half the paint off because I didn't need it all and still got amazing coverage. Third which is less important for me but might be a plus for some people, is the box they came in. It was not only beautifully displayed but that is a nice sturdy box I can see someone taking the paints in the box on the go, I don't store my paints in their original boxes but I was still impressed by it. Finally it dried at almost the perfect speed, it didn't dry so fast that you couldn't work with it but it was fast enough I didn't worry about smearing wet paint with my hand. So far I haven't been disappointed with any mont marte supplies I've gotten so I will definitely continue to buy their products 🙂

I love these paints. They are very pigmented, and to me are comparable to Liquitex Basics. They’re thick but can be thinned down. They mix well. They can be used on different surfaces. The price isn’t bad for the quality paints you get. I’ve used them to touch up my son’s toys if the paint is chipped, or painted an entirely new surface on an existing toy. I’ve used these on metal (with a sealer, like resin or something), wood, paper, mdf board, plastic etc… I have nothing negative to say about these paints. They also wash off your hands very well and do not stain at all. The first set I bought was at Tuesday Morning years ago and I can truly say that the quality is the same as it was years ago, so they haven’t cheapened their paints or used less pigment. I really don’t think anyone would be disappointed in getting this brand’s paints. I like the cool and warm tones of each color and really could go on and on about them. (The room sign is not done, I can’t figure out how to properly paint snowy mountains, and it’s driving me mad - but it’ll show a few examples of the paints)

I was honestly very impressed by the quality of these paints. They blend very well. The tubes are also a nice size. I like to be semi liberal with the amount on my palette and really mix the colors! When I run out I will definitely buy these paints again! I painted a cupcake on a 5 x 7 canvas.
