I have been using this for a few weeks now, and for the price, this is far better than the basic safety helmet I was given when starting my job as a tech. It came with everything shown in the listing, and it all works well. I am a little skeptical about the quality of the hinges on the safety glasses, and also the adjustment strap in the rear for tightening to your head size, but it has been holding up fine. For the price, not sure you can find all this in one package. The ear muffs are comfortable, they detach easily when not needed, and work well. The tinted fold down visor comes off with just 2 screws holding it on, and seems to be solid. I don't use that part, so mine is removed. The light was charged out of the box, and has been working great as well, very bright and stays on, even after being whacked around. I do recommend this for anyone that wants all the features this has to offer in a smaller price tag, especially if you only require a helmet occasionally and not daily. 6 months later: After many many uses over the past several months, I have no complaints about this helmet, other than when the glasses that are stored up inside the helmet are raised and lowered, they rub against the inside structure of the helmet which scrapes against them and leaves visible scratch marks. Over time these scratches start to interfere with your view. Other than that, this thing has been solid and is still a great value.

I love that the head lamp can be worn by itself. The hat is sturdy and comfortable. It came with a pair of saftey glasses to wear in addition to the eye shield as well as a skull cap to wear under the hat. Multiple layers of protection and a nice draw string bag to store it in. Best hard hat ever.

By far the best hard hat I have ever owned. The earmuffs fit very snug but not overly tight, perfect for on the job. The visor and glasses work flawlessy. Even the headlamp included came fully charged. It also has many modes to choose from. Amazing bang for your buck with awesome qualities.

Great looking helmet& shield but won't stay tight on head adjustment.

Once I added the full face shield to my accessories w/o the hearing protection, I give it a full 5 stars! Why? I’m a chemical tank driver and this has up to 3 layers of eye protection and in some plants, they want you in a condom. For the rest, it’s perfect. I wear hearing aids, hence no need for extra protection. It’s light and the headlamp is excellent. Did I mention the A/C vents? Well, they can be opened or closed as needed. The hidden visor inside, is special if you suddenly need one and don’t wear glasses. I use the outside drop down a lot but the full face only when required. You may balk a bit on price but figure how long and the built in features and I consider it worth every penny. BUT, order the optional full face with the hard hat. WillT

My husband works on the railroad as maintenance and needed a new hard hat. So he searched for one and picked this one out for me to order for him. I can say without a doubt that he absolutely loooves it. It's lightweight (his old hard hat was very heavy so being lightweight was a big deal), seems to be well made and very durable. He has used it for a couple of days now and is very happy with this purchase. His coworkers have asked about it and are thinking of purchasing one for themselves. Thank you for the bag to keep the hard hat in to keep it safe from being scratched/damaged when not being worn, as well as the cap. We would purchase again.

I’ve been using this helmet for about 6 months straight now. I have received a lot of compliments regarding how it looks. It looks a lot like a flight helmet, so people dig that. I removed the ear muffs and chin strap because I didn't need those features. I also purchased a second head lamp accessory as they don't really last that long on the first (most effective) setting. So that issue with the headlamp was my first complaint. That said, it really hasn’t held up that well. The first thing to go was the rachet strap/ dial for tightening up the suspension system (which is actually quite comfortable, but what good is that if you can't get it tight enough on your head...). The intergrated glasses are nice, but they got pretty beat up and scuffed putting them in and out of the helmet for storage at the end of the day. Long story short, I'm now shopping for a new replacement helmet..... Pretty sure I'm getting the KASK Super Plasma HD series…. a little bit more money, but looks great and it's well reviewed
