Continental mains plug on this device.
The details do not tell you that this appliance comes with a continental 2 pin mains plug, so will not fit a 3 pin UK socket. I have had to buy an adaptor to make this work!

Don’t buy..
Not good at all, size is very small barely fits one and the result isn’t what expected it does get the cheese to melt properly. Very poor quality. Waste of money

Inconvenient to clean.
I wish the hot plates were easy to remove and put back. As it is, it isn’t even removable so I have to manually and carefully clean the plates with a wet sponge then add soap to the sponge then a wet but clean sponge then wipe dry. So complicated and inconvenient!
