Got these to use to listen to music with at home, on the train and also use within meetings. Opening this package up, you’re presented with the headphones and a little note which looks personalised. It obviously isn’t, but it’s a nice touch. The headphones are pretty lightweight and twist just above the earpiece so that they sit comfortably on the head. They’re very simple to pair as I just switched them on a they appeared as a Bluetooth device on my phone. Once connected you hear an extremely clear voice giving instructions. At first I thought someone was in the room with me because it’s so clear! You’ll hear this voice when enabling ANC or swapping the EQ mode. You can switch this off if you want. The sound that comes from these headphones impressed me immensely. I spent last night listening to my favourite tunes and they sounded punchy and with plenty of detail in the sound. Very clear indeed. Pressing the EQ mode switches between ‘balanced’ and ‘bass’. The bass mode simply adds extra bass but not to the detriment of the rest of the music/instruments. The ANC mode attempts to apply noise cancellation so that you can’t hear external noise whilst listening to music. This is effective to some degree but I could still hear external noise somewhat. I could still hear my TV last night with this mode on and on the train today, I could still hear people banging on about stuff. It does minimise it somewhat but don’t expect total solitary confinement audible wise. These headphones are also dead easy to connect to Teams for meetings and they work a treat for that. These also come with a handy zip pouch for carrying them around with and they’re easily charged with the included USB-C cable. After wearing these for hours at a time, I found them comfortable and easy to wear. I usually struggle with headphones due to weight or sweating, but I didn’t have either problem with these. Overall, I’m really happy with these headphones. They’re light enough to wear for hours and they’re easy to setup and get up and running. I think the sound quality is really good. Both the balanced and bass mode offer very good sound quality and make listening to music a joy.

Hatte vorher schon das Vorgängermodel, das leider nicht mehr produziert wird. Nachdem das alte nach 2,5 Jahren einige optische Gebrauchsspuren hatte, wurde es verschenkt und ein neues musste her. Bin begeistert von Avantree und finde auch das neue Modell toll. Angeblich kann man damit nicht telefonieren, aber ich konnte das alte Mikrofon dranstecken und es ging einwandfrei. Es hat auch ein eingebautes Mikro, das ich allerdings noch nicht ausprobiert habe. Das Headset ist sehr stabil und bedienerfreundlich, mit langen Akkulaufzeiten. Ich nutze es im Schnitt bestimmt 3-4 Stunden am Tag und dann erst tut es langsam ein wenig an den Ohren weh, aber nach kurzer Zeit kann man es wieder lang tragen. Für den Preis ein Topprodukt!

The headphones are made of black and grey plastic; classic or basic, depending on your views. The build seems solid. They can be folded up, but still remain quite bulky. When adjusting across your head, the left side has a positive notching lock feel which is missing from the right side. I can't see why this should be intentional and it does mean the right ear piece positioning is more vulnerable to being disturbed. In use the headphones, settle well and are comfortable even for longer periods. The cushions have the right balance between comfort and functionality and are not too heavy or bulky. The design has the control buttons well spaced and you soon learn to find and operate them easily. I first tried the headphones with MP4 tracks on my PC. The bluetooth pairing was quick and effortless. Switching on without music, the first sensation was that my ears were wrapped in cotton wool - a sort of non-sound. Bringing in the music, the sensation disappeared. The initial sound level was too high for comfortable listening but did show that the headphones could cope without the sound suffering. Once adjusted, the headphones delivered excellent quality music across rock, singer songwriter, acoustic and orchestral. Trebles were handled exceptionally well, bass slightly less so. Overall the effect was more "wall of sound" rather than the detail of specific instruments. For listening to MP4 quality music: 5 stars. The next test was to connect the headphones to my high end hi-fi set up. This time I used the wired option. I played similar types of music on both vinyl and CD. Again the headphones performed well. I was much more aware of the slightly flat soundstage and the lack of detail. For the price the performance was a strong 4 stars. As the headphones are below the top end but above the mainstream mid-price offerings, I have awarded 5 stars overall. I hope you found this review useful.
