Xgimi Aura 2 GTV UST Laser Projector
I got this projector because I have seen good reviews on this model. In person it's a beautiful unit and projects a very sharp image, auto focus and alignment, come with a Bluetooth remote and is back lite. Has 3 HDMI ports, one is also for e-arc sound systems, 3 USB ports, optical sound port, audio pot, Ethernet port or use WiFi, can project up to 150 foot image without distortion. Also included are batteries for the remote, power cable, manual and warranty information. This version is GTV which is Google streaming for people that use Netflix & other apps standard for Google streaming services. There is another version ATV, which is Android streaming which doesn't have Netflix. This projector has some many features including 3D, it's hard to detail everything here. Check online video for this projector but remember this is GTV version. Most videos are on the ATV. Everything is similar except this has Google TV streaming.

Best and most affordable UST Projector for $3K
The highest quality and most affordable ultra short throw projector on the market right now. I was shopping for ultra short throw projectors in the $3k range and this is by far the best option. I tried Epson, AWOL, Hisense, and this one beats all of the others by a long shot. This one is also has the smallest footprint, the brightest picture, the quietest fan, the best sound, the best design, the only one to have an automatic protective cover, the safest eye shutoff timing, the shortest distance to the wall, the best software, and the most affordable. Only the Epson was the best at the color, of the ones I tried. AWOL was probably the worst one having the picture cut in and out while watching which was a deal breaker. Hisense was also not great in terms of software options. It did connect to Apple HomeKit which was cool, but not all that useful. It also had no auto shutoff eye protection when looking into the laser, which every other system did. It was the only one that ran on Google TV vs Android TV. It also had a light that was always on, and no option to turn off. The Xgimi has the fastest shutoff time where your eyes will never receive light. a must if you have kids. The others have a slight delay where youโll be blinded for a split second. Epson had the best color, however it had a much larger footprint on the entertainment center and had to be further from the wall, so it was almost falling off. It also required manual focus, and no auto-keystone, and the fan was noticeably loud after a while. So yes the Xgimi is by far the best option. There are some improvement that could be made. Itโs running on Android TV, but I think I like Google TV software better. Also if the color laser has the same technology as the Epson, it would be perfect. EPSON was the only where you couldnโt see the blue/green/red colors if you moved your eyes quickly. I wish the remote had an โinputโ button and the volume buttons would be easier to see. It looks like you could buy another version of the remote on their website with these options. The pros: it has Auto keystone on startup and movement. If you move the projector, it can autofocus. It can also auto keystone on power on. The reason this is a must for me is because itโs on a separate entertainment center on hardwood. Any slight movement to the entertainment center or the projector requires you to redo the keystone. When itโs complicated to do, then itโs a pain to get right. Some of the other projectors require an App where you take a picture of the screen on your phone, or manually adjust each corner. It also supports WiFi 6, which is one of the few devices I own that supports it. The audio was also important for us, because we didnโt want to buy a separate sound bar. This one had the best sounding audio of all the systems I tested. So it was pretty much a no brainer to choose this one, I canโt recommend this enough! Definitely a 5 star purchase.

Not Perfect ๐คจ
The top left won't align right. It's bent skewed. It took forever trying to scan the QR code to access the feature. Why do I need to hook up to wifi and Google to set this projector. They're all doing it as a backdoor data grab. ๐ก Wall adaptation thing needs to be able to be done without hooking up to the internet and needs improvement. Kept taking photo after photo to get it right. Gave up as it can't seem to give a straight keystone. And be careful not to tap 4pt or 8pt because it will reset the whole keystone and you will have to use wall adaptation mode. Makes 4pt and 8pt feature useless. I'm upset because I spent so much money on this and really was expecting a high end product for the cost only to be short changed. Do I send it back for an exchange? Will the other one be just as bad? Maybe. From my experience from exchanging the other projectors yeah. I really like the brightness level. I fired it up during daylight with the blinds slightly opened and wow a clear colorful picture that wasn't washed out. Went through all the picture modes and adjustments and there's plenty to keep you busy. The picture with Imax capability Dolby Atmos sound. It looks good. ๐ The sound is pretty good could just use a little more bass but yeah I can watch whatever without needing a soundbar. But I had to hook up my Bose soundbar via optical for that home theater sound ... but then I get cuts. It's cutting in n out. wtf. ๐ I check and reconnect and hope it doesn't clip but it does. ๐ The look of this machine is slick and sophisticated. What is it people ask. It just looks cool. Is it a fancy air purifier or stereo? A computer? ... no one knows till I turn it on and the magic door opens slow n smooth. Boom a bright light appears with a menu. It all looks fantastic... until you see the wrinkly messed up top left corner. ๐คซ Hurumf I say. Why couldn't this just be right like I've seen in the countless review videos I watched before pulling the trigger. ๐ข UPDATE: Customer support contacted me and says its my wall. My wall? All my other projectors work fine and flat on that wall. Even got an ALR screen and it still cannot give me a flat smooth rectangular image. The wall adaptation option should be just that an option but it's not. It's pretty much the only thing you can use to try and get this projecting flat. I also moved it to another wall and used a different screen. Maybe I got a dud. Most of what I watch is in letterbox so it doesn't bother me that bad but in this price range there should be zero issues. Cool projector good picture n sound but mine has keystoning issues.

Top Projector
Highly recommend this projector. Use it as my main tv in my bedroom and also use it for gaming. Great sound! And very fast especially in menus which a lot of tvs and projectors have lag. Ive been using projectors mainly in my bedroom for years, and have slowly upgraded up to this one. If you have the money, skip the low quality projectors and go straight to this one or an equivalent quality one because the difference in quality is huge!

Perfect for my bedroom
Really happy with the picture quality. I didnโt really want to buy a TV, so this ended up being a much better fit for my bedroom. I just put it on my dresser, and since itโs pretty lightweight, I donโt have to worry about the dresser holding a heavy TV. I mostly use it in the evening, and honestly, it feels way cozier than I expected. Watching something in bed with the lights down just hits differently. Really glad I went with this instead of a TV.

Hardware is great, not so much so on the software
Hardware is great, not so much so on the software- 1) roughly once a week the projector wonโt turn on via remote and has to be unplugged and replugged to get it to turn on 2) brightness level would restore to default (max brightness) randomly. Both are annoying bugs I hope they will fix via software updates.

Best projector out rn for a decent price
It is a nice buy, i had to exchange my first one and get another because the sound started arching like it bust without me ever turning the volume up to loud. The second one also did the same thing, I ended up getting 100 from the people and buying a soundbar for the price it shouldn't be messing up at all. Projector with the soundbar is nice.

Excellent UST projector for large screens โ shines in a dark room
Iโve been using the XGIMI Aura 2 in a fully dark room with a 150-inch projection, and overall Iโm extremely impressed with the performance. The picture quality is outstanding for an ultra short throw projector. Colors are vibrant, contrast is strong, and 4K content looks sharp and cinematic at this size. In a dark room, the brightness is more than sufficient, and movies truly feel like a home theater experience. The built-in speakers are surprisingly good as well โ easily good enough for casual viewing without an external sound system. Iโm currently projecting onto a plain wall, and while the results are very good, itโs clear that this projector would really benefit from a dedicated UST/ALR projector screen. At 150 inches, minor wall imperfections become visible, and blacks and contrast would definitely improve with a proper screen. If youโre investing in a projector at this level, pairing it with a good screen will unlock its full potential. Setup was straightforward, focus and keystone adjustments are easy, and the overall build quality feels premium. Smart features and interface are smooth and responsive. Pros: โข Excellent image quality in dark rooms โข Handles very large screen sizes well (150โ+) โข Strong brightness and color reproduction โข Good built-in audio โข Premium build and easy setup Cons: โข To get the best results, a dedicated projector screen is highly recommended โข Wall projection is good, but not ideal at this size Verdict: If youโre looking for a high-quality UST projector for a large-screen home theater, the XGIMI Aura 2 is a fantastic choice. Just budget for a proper screen if you want the absolute best experience.

Impressive 4K Laser Projector for a True Home Cinema Experience
I recently upgraded my home cinema setup with the XGIMI Aura 2 Ultra Short Throw Laser Projector, and it has truly transformed the way I enjoy movies, shows, and games. From the moment I powered it on, this projector impresses on every level. First and foremost, the picture quality is outstanding. With 4K UHD resolution and support for Dolby Vision, HDR10, HLG, and IMAX Enhanced, colors are rich, contrast is deep, and visuals feel incredibly lifelike easily comparable to a premium television on a massive screen. At up to 150โณ projection size from just inches away thanks to its UST (ultra-short-throw) design, it fills my living room wall beautifully without complicating the installation process. Setting up the Aura 2 was refreshingly simple. Intelligent tools like auto-focus, auto-keystone, and adaptive wall correction mean I got a perfectly aligned large image in minutes no fiddling with mounts or manual adjustments. The built-in Harman Kardon audio with Dolby Atmos compatibility delivers impressively immersive sound straight from the unit, reducing my need for external speakers. The design itself feels premium and blends seamlessly into my living space. What I also appreciate is the thoughtful feature set from smart ambient light sensing to quick wake/sleep modes, itโs clear XGIMI focused on both performance and everyday convenience. Overall, the XGIMI Aura 2 delivers cinematic visuals, rich audio, and user-friendly setup in one sleek package. Itโs well worth considering for anyone seeking a high-end home cinema experience without the fuss of traditional projectors or bulky screens.

Excellent 4K UST Projector with Stunning Colors
I recently purchased the XGIMI Aura 2 UST Laser Projector from Amazon and Iโm extremely happy with the overall experience. The picture quality is excellent โ the colors are bright, vibrant, and very well balanced, and the 4K resolution really shines, especially in a dark or dimly lit room. Movie nights genuinely feel cinematic. Setup was straightforward, and being an ultra-short-throw projector makes placement very convenient without needing a large room. The image clarity and sharpness exceeded my expectations for a projector in this category. The built-in sound system is also quite decent for normal viewing. While it may not replace a dedicated home theatre audio setup, itโs more than adequate for everyday movies, TV shows, and casual viewing without immediately needing external speakers. Overall, this is a premium, well-designed product that delivers excellent performance and value. Highly recommended for anyone looking to upgrade to a high-quality UST laser projector. ๐
