Best bang for your buck
This mouthpiece astonished me. The price does not match the quality by any means. I have bought other Bari sax mouthpieces for several hundred dollars more with a worse tone. The appearance itself fits the theme of my gigs perfectly.

Bari Mouthpiece
This is a great mouthpiece. I use it on my Yanigasawa bari and I think the sound is superior to the stock Yani mouthpiece. There are no range limitations and the tone is excellent. Just remember - you're buying the mouthpiece WITHOUT ligature. Not just any ligature will do - you'll need a Rico Royal bari ligature which has special crimping to exactly fit only this mp. (the barrel has a unique shape). My La Voz reeds tend to allow a little air around the sides (vice my Otto Link), so my ombisure has to be just right. Not difficult though and the result is a very playable mp.

Good but one little problem
I got this mouthpiece and it works amazing I’ve played with a 2.5 cane reed (Vandoren) and a 2.5 synthetic reed (Légère Signature) and it’s been amazing I can hit my lows and climb into the altissimo range easily. Tone is amazing it has a nice, full, and warm tone in my opinion and I run out of breath less with it. The only problem is that I cannot find a mouthpiece that fits it. I’ve tried and returned so many that at this point I’m just going to get a different mouthpiece. I’ve been resorting to using a slightly bigger ligature and then using paper to fill the extra space for a tight seal. Other than that I’d recommend, it’s worth its price.

I love these mouthpieces!
I have one of these for each of my saxes as a backup. I have also performed on these and they do offer a great sound. I would highly recommend these to any student who wants a great mouthpiece at a great price!

big seller suckers little guy again....
I'm sorry seeling the ligature seperately? I blasted noise throughout my concert thanks I had to use a dam hose clap from my van. Your a big company - make it clear on the ad that a person NEEDS TO BUY THE LIGATURE ALSO!!!! Sure if I played sax for 40 years I'd know but I am new. You big dollar sellers always do this ypu think "buyer beware" then you go bum up because of poor ratings. Will you ever learn? Send me a free ligature that actually fits this thing and I will replace this with 5 stars and a glowing report. $30 for a .25c piece of chinese molded plastic. Get real...then I read the ligatures are crap and don't fit? Plastic is moldable get the info and make them right to fit. or get no stars and put down and run off the web.

Good for starting out bari, but that's about it...came with no ligature.
I bought this mouthpiece for one of my students. He's just starting bari, so a student mouthpiece would be appropriate. That being said as a gigging sax player, I absolutely despise using anything made by Rico. When I buy my pro mouthpieces, and even some intermediate ones, at least you'll get a ligature with them. I wound up having to take one of my factory tenor Otto Link rubber mouthpiece ligatures and putting it on here. If you're a parent looking for a step-up setup, please don't buy this. Get a better quality mouthpiece. For beginners on the instrument (even if they played sax before) this is a good go-to.

Very good cheaper option for a mouthpiece, still does the job!

I've used a few different lower budget mouthpieces but this is by far the best and I would make the recommendation to anyone of any skill level just to try it.

I know mouthpiece preferences are personal, if not subjective, but I have noticed an appreciable enhancement of sound quality since I started using this. B5 is admittedly quite middle of the road (I use medium strength reeds) and people who want a darker or brighter sound will probably be better using mouthpieces with more extreme openings, but I am satisfied with this, and probably will be for some time.
