Is my health data confidential or are the results gathered and used in other ways?

At Everlywell, your privacy is just as important to us as it is to you. Your test results are confidential. Our physician network and the performing laboratory are required by law to report to state health authorities for disease tracking and prevalence. Your results are not shared by Everlywell or our partners for anything outside of state health reporting.

Customer information is only shared with the third-party lab and physicians that are a part of our testing process, except where a customer has consented to sharing the information with one of our enterprise partners.

For our published research, we always anonymize, de-identify, and aggregate data and seek supplemental data from our customer for more qualitative aspects on an opt-in, voluntary basis only.

Under no circumstance do we ever sell our customers' data, and we use state-of-the-art, bank-grade encryption to ensure data security.

Do regular Doctors accept these results and use them to prescribe needed Prescriptions?

The instruments and assays used by the laboratories we use are comparable to—and often the same as—those used by the labs a doctor’s office uses. All of the at-home sample collection testing we offer has been thoroughly validated against traditional testing conducted in doctor’s offices and clinics. That data is reviewed and approved by the certified Laboratory Director at each lab in our network, the Everlywell Clinical Team, and our partner physician network’s medical team.

Everlywell always advises you to share and discuss your results with your health care provider. Our tests provide personalized information and education; they are not intended to diagnose any disease or condition or to substitute for professional medical advice or treatment. You should always seek the advice of your physician or other qualified health care provider with any questions you have regarding your medical care.

Where do I find my results ?

Hello there!
To view your results:
1. Log in to your My Everly account at https://results.everlywell.com/dashboard. 
2. You will see your completed test on your dashboard. Click on "View Results" to view your results.
3. To save or print a PDF file of your results, click on "Save a PDF" in the top right corner of your results page.
4. Click on the "Results For My Doctor" link to access the PDF version.
5. Save or print the PDF.

Had anyone compared the free testosterone results from the kit to a test from an MD?

Thank you for your question! The instruments and assays used by the laboratories we use are comparable to—and often the same as—those used by the labs a doctor’s office uses. Our at-home sample collection methods, like dried blood spot and saliva, have been widely used for decades in areas of the laboratory testing industry such as neonatal testing and metabolic screening among others.
