5pcs 0.8 mm Powerful Pro Slingshot Rubber Bands Flat Replacement Band | Slingshot Flat Bands, for Hunting Catapult, Elastic Bungee

I really like these bands, but I was shorted a few. I tried out the first one and it snapped in under 50 shots right by pouch. I disassembled the other side of the band and trim them the same length then reassembled with rubber band tying. They probably have lasted another hundred plus rounds with the same band. If they all would’ve showed up, I would’ve gave it five stars but Amazon was nice enough to refund me without having to return what was left of them so I guess I’ll give it five stars for Amazon customer service and they’re excellent quality compared to some of the other Bands that I bought off of Amazon. They’re not strong enough to shoot 3/8 inch steel balls or 11 mm lead through a tin can though so they’re plinking bands and not hunting bands…BUT…. Wanted to update this review after trying some little 1/8th ounce (9.5 mm lead equivalent) 55 grain lead egg sinkers. At 5 yards they go through the front side of a tin can and put a really good dent on the backside. I’m guessing if I shorten up the bands, I might get a complete pass-through. Quarter ounce lead only puts a dent in the tin can. I also had an aluminum can on the inside of the tin can, and it broke the aluminum can inside and put a dent on the back of the tin can with an 1/8th ounce egg sinkers. So I’ll have to get a new tin can to test without putting anything inside of it and maybe I’ll get a complete pass through who knows. So I take back my above statement as with the right ammo these bands would work just fine for hunting with 9.5 mm lead. I wouldn’t be afraid to use that little 8th of an ounce lead out of my home made Yew wood slinger on fur. I also will say that every band set has torn by the pouch within the first couple dozen shots of the rest of them. I just cut the tire around the pouch and pulled them through even and re-tie with rubber bands. They last hundreds and hundreds of rounds before they rip again. I don’t know who’s ever tying them ties them too tight or what the deal is, but when I re-tie, I also trim my excess to maybe a 16th to an 1/8th of an inch versus way over a quarter inch of access band left over which is probably slapping the bands and causing wear. I can say it works on fur and feathers. I found out personally already with these bands and 55 grain lead ammo.

I have tried several different bands since buying my Torque from SimpleShot. I thought my favorite bands were the SimpleShot brand but I'm starting to like these more I think.I got caught up in the thinking that thicker bands are always better and more powerful, but I've learned that's not so.They don't feel like .8mm, maybe slightly thinner. They have a nice, easy draw but still pack a punch. I seem to be more accurate and consistent with these.I trim to my draw length and periodically take them off and re-tie them so they are shorter, gaining more power. The bands are long lasting.

Bought these to add to my collection of bands...their better than most I've used and have ...they are...personally...better and more accurate for me using clay 3/8 ammo over steel balls..i would recommend and purchase again

I am using these on a Dave's 7" Extended Fork Slingshot and there is something about this particular flat band that just shoots so well and can't really find another band that has the combination of snappiness. From clay ammo to steel balls it's a nice balance.

So I think the bands are great tied on great but the pouches feel like leather that's been sitting for years honestly won't buy again , maybe you can break in the pouches like a Hyde not sure spend the extra couple bucks that's all be safe shooters

these band can crack they will send a 8m or 3/8 pretty fast. Im happy with them. Gunna use the pouch when i tie my own soon do like the pouch a lot

I got several thousand shot from each one. Granted I don't pull back as hard as others do I am surprised they lasted as long as they have.You'll see them begin to tear before they finally snap so you'll know it's time to replace them before you get smacked in the face.The pouch slot for the ammo is very durable. the rubber band will almost always snap before the leather pouch gives out.When you do replace one you'll notice more resistance and more power with a fresh one so you know they loose power as they wear out. So if you need to compete or simply want to impress someone, use a new band.

Shipping speed was normal. But very nice pouch and strong.but the center hole is little too big for the small ammo.over all . I like it. Willing to buy more .thx

Each individual band is only 9" long. Too short for someone of my height 6'. The description given is confusing because it says overall length is 21" which is close but 2 1/4 " is taken up by the pouch. Not useable. If they had not been delayed due to corona virus I would have returned them.
