No, it uses standard crochet books. You get 8 washers in assorted sizes to accommodate size B (2.25mm) to size K (6.5mm).

Would crochet hooks with handles work with this? Eg clover amour

No, as the handle won't fit. Tbh it only worked for me for a few days and it went back. I prefer Addi Swing hooks but I also have four corks wrapped in elastic that I slide over my other hooks which helps when my hands are painful

Instructions on the packet say for a 3.5mm hook use the E (letter E) washer but none of the washers have letter markings. Can anyone help please?

They are colour coded, on the packet there should be a list of colours and there represent E size
