Phanteks PH-DRGBLED_COMBO_01 Digital RGB LED Strip Combo Set 2x 400mm 1x M/B adapter ASUS/MSI compatible Retail (Works only with DRGB boards)

I got this kit to use with my Asrock X470 Taichi Ultimate. Using the Asrock software I am able to use this strip and use the addressable properties of the strips. You get two strips of 30 LEDs each, a cable to connect from the motherboard 3-pin header to the first strip, and an extension cable to connect between the two strips if you want to locate them away from each other. You can also just connect the strips directly to each other without the extension cable. The LEDs are pretty bright and have embedded magnets and attached tape for attaching to your case. Overall I am happy with the quality and would recommend these LED strips.

It's been a long while since I built my previous PC and the LED strips have definitely gotten better. It is brighter and plugs directly into the mobo and controllable by software. But my favorite part is they solved the biggest issue with old strips using crappy tape. Now there are magnets Integrated into the strip and it sticks to the case naturally without any tape needed!

I ran these behind my monitors. I like the look of wall splashing light. It really does look amazing, and can easily be synced to other phantoms devices and controlled through Asus Aura. However, I could not get the included adhesive to work at all. The strips are made of this really weird slick rubbery material, and nothing will stick to it. I eventually took heavy dowdy packing tape and stuck that to the monitor essentially clamping the strip on. It works... mediocre at best. Overall, for 20 bucks they have good lighting, but they don't stick to anything.

I have done a great deal of research regarding different ARGD or "addressable/digital" rgb strips. If you don't know the difference between these and regular RGB strips, please research first before buying a strip and then giving a poor review because it doesn't fit your board. That is entirely user error and has nothing to do with the products. I have seen way to many reviews which blame the product because the user hasn't done their homework. Moving on, there are 30 LEDs per 40cm strip which has a higher density of 5050 SMD lights then more expensive strips like ASUS (I own and used both). These strips have small circular magnets placed along the lights for metal applications and even though it does include adhesive strips w/ the 3M logo, which would probably be effective, the silicone that these strips are entirely coated with makes it very difficult for adhesives to stick too. I would recommend using a glue or some-other means of sticking these strips to plastic. The ASUS strips are also entirely silicone coated, but are far less dense (cheaper) when it comes to the actual leds. The package includes a 5v ARGB motherboard header adapter and an extension cable to connect between the lights. These 3-pin cables are very difficult to find on their own for some reason. These strips still require a controller of not motherboard controlled. Also, don't forget to watch out for the amperage values. Because these strips are so dense they have a potential draw of 1.08amps max, which it may never hit, but keep that in mind. That translates to around 60 LEDS to 1.08 amps max w/ all leds and every color on full. These are just rough estimates, as always, do your homework when choosing a controller or utilizing a motherboard controller so as to not overload a single channel. There are hubs out there which can be helpful if you decide to use multiple strips, fans, fan rings, ram heat-sinks, radiators, or any other ARGB/ DRGB or even non-addressable RGB products. To sum up, these are the best (highest density, durability, build quality), addressable RGB lights I have found to date, and the price is more than reasonable when compared to other name brands, not to mention even some knock offs. Hopefully someone finds this helpful.

I've used Phanteks LEDs before so I knew what brand to go with. These did not disappoint. All the lights work, all the magnets hold, very bright and beautiful. The only problem is that I just couldn't find a place for them in my Meshify 2 in storage mode. If you have a space for these in your case, I highly recommend them.

Good product for the phanteks ecosystem. I think the DRGB plugs are proprietary but they work well with my Evolv Shift 2 case so no worries. My only gripe is the adhesive is a little tricky and doesn't stick super well, especially when the case is warm but I just tucked them away. They're still bright enough to have the desired effect.

Very bright LEDs at full brightness. Included extension cable allowed me to run each 30-light strip asking the sides of my case. Magnets embedded in the strips make placement a snap. Connected to my Asus ROG Strix X-470 at the addressable rgb header, they work magic with the aura software. I can sync them along with my rgb fans and the motherboard led's to music, cpu temperature or any number of sweet effects. Strips like these really elevate the lighting tenfold. Worth every penny.

With a compatible motherboard (for me it was an ASUS board specifically) these work their magic flawlessley. Just connect and the software helps with all the rest. Not only do they come with adhesive straps, but the strips themselves are magnetic and are strong enough to hold without the adhesives (which is how mine are held up). The colors are fluid and responsive. A truly perfect product.

Excelente iluminación, led digitales direccionables muy brillantes y con efectos muy buenos, se pueden controlar mediante la motherboard si cuenta con conector digital de tres pines, aunque en mi caso no cuento con este conector así que combine las tiras led con el starter kit de phanteks que trae un controlador y las luces para ventiladores halos digital de 120 mm para lograr estos efectos, los imanes en las tiras permiten colocarlos en gabinete de acero sin más instalación, así coloque tres tiras en la parte posterior del gabinete y una dentro del mismo para lograr ese efecto. Altamente recomendado.
