It worked very well and is much cheaper than the genuine Canon one. Given I use it this only a few times every year, totally worth it for me.

On getting this, I left it plugged in to charge for a couple hours, and then swapped out my battery in my R7. There's a neat rubber notch in the battery compartment for the power cable to snake though, allowing you to still close the battery door which is great.I plugged it in, and powered up the camera, and it worked just as you would expect it to.I've been recording hours of video with it since, with no problems. No overheating or any other unpleasant surprises.Great product from NEEWER.

I wanted to try to use this adapter for a Nikon Z6III. The camera will recognize it but it will tell you that you need to replace it with the registered battery for this camera and due to safety it will shut down. Im gonna keep it until there's a new firmware.

I've purchased products from this manufacturer before, and they've worked well enough, so I gave this a go, and it worked awesome! Powered my camera through hours of outdoor winter temps. Definitely worth the money. Fit perfect in the battery slot, and there was a rubber piece to move out of the way on my camera body for the cord to come out so the battery door could close. I was very pleased.

Works as expected. Has a cutout so you can route the cable out the dummy battery cable hole present on some cameras (like my EOS 6D). Nice long cable, too.
