Purchased this heater more than a year ago and love using it during cold winter days. Great quality - easy to use, very light, and warms up my room quickly. I get really cold feet in the winter and this heater has been a blessing to keep them warm. Safe even around toddlers - I give my toddler a warm massage after bath time on cold winter days when the temperature goes below 20F. Finally, a quiet, portable heater that I can move around easily. Great value for the money!

I have had this heater for a few months. It works great under my desk. Once when I was moving it I tilted it and it immediately shut off so I know that auto shut off feature is strong. It definitely allowed me to be comfortable in my office. I don't have heat in my office as it is supposed to get it from the rooms surrounding it but it is still cold. It does get quite warm so I usually only use the one heating element. There are two and you can use them separately or together. You can also chose whether you want to use the top or bottom element. It is so easy to use. One of the safety features is the case is cool to touch and that is very true. There is a handle on the back and I can put my hand there any time it is on and not risk getting burnt. It is nice in color.

Reasonable priced but mighty. Keeps me warm in a cold drafty house. Perfect supplement to go along with the furnace. I live in Iowa and it has been brutal this week -10 with 35 mph winds. I have been very thankful for this heater.

In a nutshell, I love this heater. But you have to understand how it should be used. Radiant/infrared (IR) heaters like this are NOT made for heating a room; they heat people (or objects). That's why they're so efficient. The IR waves pass through air molecules without heating them, meaning the air itself won't be warmed directly. When it encounters something solid--i.e., your skin--the waves are absorbed and you feel warm. This is great if you're cold but someone else is not. Or if you need warmth without making the room stuffy. It's directional, so you want to be stationary when using it, with it pointed directly at you. It's a very quick and intense heat, like going outside on a sunny day. Sunshine is made of IR waves, too. Since it heats you directly, it can use only 500w at full power, versus a standard ceramic heater that uses upwards of 2,000 watts. Bonus: it's very light, and the quartz rods look cool when they glow. Just be sure to put the kickstand out all the way because it tips over easily.

I bought this heater hoping to reduce cost and to be more energy efficient. Unfortunately this heater does not have enough output for a small room to get warm. I left it on to heat up our small bathroom (less than 45 sq feet) but only the area in front of the heater and on the floor was warm after 20 minutes. Our little electric heater can be left on for a few minutes and the room already starts to heat up. I wanted to have an alternative to the regular electric heaters but this heater isn’t it. I think it could be the size, because the heater does still put heat out and fast. I just think this specific heater would be better served warming toes under a desk instead of getting the bathroom tolerable for bath time or warming a room. Close range heat is great.

Purchased this heater to use at work since my work area gets cold. I went with this due to its silent operation which is helpful when on calls. I have recently decided to buy another to use in my home office.

The heater has two heating elements with a switch for each. Each element is 250 watts. This is ideal for my needs. I often only need 250 watts. My previous radiant heater had 450 watt elements which were often more than I needed. I have only had this heater for about 16 months. So far both elements are still working. With my previous radiant heater both elements were dead within 16 months. I use the heater for about six months and about 9 hours a day. I like this heater so much I bout 5 more in case it is discontinued.

So far I am loving this heater, it came on time, and well packaged. I only use it on the low setting, but wow, does it ever put off quite abit of heat. It is a cozy fireplace type of heat that I love, so am happy with this purchase, hope it lasts the winter lol. Would recommend and would buy one again. Thank you

Update Previous review gave a four star rating but now will give it a Five star as there is a way to have both elements work at the same time. Works well and provides sufficient heat for it's size.

Calienta, pero espacios pequeños, pero hace su funcion

Super lightweight. The size of a placemat basically. I'd like the fact that it's angled so it won't heat the floor like the larger tower model you always see. It would be nice if it had a timer but you can't have everything for a model this inexpensive.
