Raw Unrefined Organic Shea Butter (250 grams)

I have been using this now for three weeks, and I must admit that I am hooked! We are so used to using chemical products with strong fragrances, that when we actually come across something free of harsh chemicals and strong smells, we automatically think that it's off putting. Not in this case though... The nutty smell of this shea butter kind of grows on you. The healing power of this smooth butter is a blessing for skin stripped of moisture in dry, harsh climate, made worse with pollution. The butter melts into your palm, and spreads easily. You can feel the difference in just a few applications. A gentle reminder though, this may not be your choice if you are in a place with high humidity levels. But if you are in a dry, hot place, this is a blessing!!

Update: Have been a regular shea butter user for the past year or more and was totally in love with this product if you see the older reviews. However for the past two boxes, I got really fed up with the smell that seemed more overpowering than before and almost offensive. I have reduced only one star because I still believe it is a genuine product. Update: was just buying a fourth box, thought I should let people know :-) Would like to clarify I am not an expert on Shea butter. I bought a small pack (almost 5 stars) of another brand just to figure out if I like it. Then started looking for a good rate for a bigger pack. Bought this because of high rating (even if it was by only a few people) as well as competitive pricing. This product is definitely "smoother" in feel. I would surely buy again, once I am done with this box. Currently using for skin: applying directly or mixing with cold pressed extra virgin coconut oil in almost equal proportion and mixing with fingers. No point in heating it and losing out the benefits of "cold pressed" Add tea tree and lavender essential oils. It masks the shea butter smell and smells heavenly.

This is best product for DIY body lotoion and i use very minute on my oily skin. This does not clog pore, add shine and increases collagen in ur skin. Collegen creates new skin cells which reduce signs of age.. Cocoa butter smells so good but this shea butter is completely opposite when it comes to smell.. It has naturally bad smell so don't think that the product is stale or not usable. This is very good and pure product. This can also be used on frizzy hair as live on serum just rub minute on your palm and it will melt.

Packing quality super low, received opened container, now doubt the quality of the product too.

Its a good product. Keeps skin moisturised for a good 8-10hrs. Dont expect it to have fragrance as thats how shea butter is- it will have not so good smell but the smell doesn’t linger. The absolute worst part is the container. The lid doesn’t get on at all. Its not cool as with lose lid, chances of the content getting spoiled is high. I will have to transfer it to a different container

Using the product for the first time, moisturizing effect is good. Does smell nutty, but considering the benefits and that's how the natural product should be, no issues there. Only issue is with the bottling. Though the jar is a strong pet jar, the lid is quite loose, cannot close it tightly, keeps rotating, hence need to be cautious while travelling, deducting a star for the nonfunctional lid.

I love to diy skin care products and I got this one for making moisturizers, lip balms and crack heel creams.. it works wonders on the skin.. I am madly in love with Shea butter and I am reviewing after almost emptying two jars. Also using this in its original form on my belly to avoid stretch marks post pregnancy. This has a raw nutty smell, but that's a Earthy smell the product comes with. Heals cracks and soothes heavy pain in heels during cracks. Best to be used as it is for people with extreme dry skin.
