I use this to control the dust collector in my wood shop. With this I can keep the collector in another room so the noise of it doesn't bother me and turn it off and on with the touch of a button from my work area.

5 stars for now at least, I received my BN-LINK Outdoor Remote Control today which I ordered to provide an easy way to turn on a water feature we are having installed in our backyard. I connected it to an outdoor outlet as soon as I pulled it out of the box, inserted the battery into the remote, plugged the pump into the BN-Link and we were off to the races. I cannot at this point attest to how robust it is but if it conks out I will be back to update this review. I will say that the build quality seems very good. One thing to note, some of the reviews I read complain about the battery not working, I find myself wondering if the reviewers noticed the VERY thin layer of plastic that the battery comes wrapped in. I have to say I almost installed the battery with that left on, once I noticed it and cut it off I had no issues at all with the device. I am thrilled I can stand in the house and turn the fountain on without having to go outside to plug the pump into the outdoor receptacle.

Save your money, opened the box and grabbed the remote to check the battery and it just fell out, put the battery back in and it rattles around and doesn’t work. Best of all you can only return UPS and I had to pay.

Bought it to replace my current wired stop/start remote switch to my 2000 watt truck inverter. Now I can hit stop start the electrical flow of my inverter to my EcoFlow in my truck bed. Simple and effective. Cheaper than buying a blue tooth stop start for the inverter. $150.00. Just keep inverter on and hit the off switch on this controller to the outlet same result. Very happy with this unit.
