it's a bit fidgety getting the drivers installed but, once done, you can easily auto install for the 2nd port, on win11 the intel driver installer didn't work for me etc just download the package and do it manually from whatever folder you unzip them to! other than that, performance is great, connected to a 10g switch and a asus rog gt-be98, home network on roids :3

We are on community fiber 5 GB and we were not reaching the advertised speeds. Although this card has no WIFI connections, there are 2 Lan connections instead. Installing the card was quick and simple to install plus windows found the drivers automatically. Once installed this card we started getting speeds of 5.2GB download and 5.1GB upload. I would recommend this network card if you have fast internet, but not getting the correct speed.

Great card just a shame windows does not have the drivers built in but I install windows from a USB drive and I make a folder on there with the drivers in there then I just directed to that folder when it needs the drivers I fine it works fine for me

I installed the network card on a free PCI slot. booted up PC. In the device manager windows 10 did not recognize the network card unknown device . I downloaded the driver from the manufacturer installed driver windows gave me a warning the driver is not trusted I installed it anyway the network card then worked fine my PC is working at 10GB the windows 10 driver is from 2020. I would recommend this 10GB seems to work fine.

This falsely advertises 2.5gbps fallback which it does not support, the Intel x540-t2 doesn’t even support 2.5gbps or 5gbps only 100mbps 1gbps 10gbps it’s ok if you only want it for 10gbps and fallback of 1000gbps but it shouldn’t be advertising 2.5

Beware Intel X540-T2 does NOT support 2.5G. Bought it for my Unraid server. I was mislead by one of the advertisement image as it showed 1G/2.5G for the indication light so I thought it supported that. I needed 2.5G and I figured having 10G as future proof wouldn't hurt. After plugging it in and looking at the connection on my Ubiquiti network I found it was stuck at 1G. After some research Intel X540-T2 cannot do 2.5G. I don't want to open up the server again to pull it out and refund it so I will eat the cost. Hope this stops someone from making the same mistake like me.

Richiede uno slot pci-x X8 per funzionare al meglio, offre due porte da 10gb ciascuna su cavo in rame. Dotata di dissipatore non è compattissima ma risulta ben ingegnerizzata e robusta. Viene fornita anche di staffetta di fissaggio a basso profilo. Installata su di un PC dotato di Windows 10 pro, non viene subito riconosciuta ma bisogna installare i driver manualmente, fatto ciò sarà subito operativa senza nessun intoppo, prestazioni sul gigabit allineate allo standard. In attesa di switch da 10 gigabit per effettuare test completo. Sono molto soddisfatto del prodotto.

For those who have problems like it not showing up in your device manager (windows 11) it has to do with your PCIe slot, mine didn’t show because my second slot was sharing the bandwidth with the m.2 slots, I have 3 nvme drives and I had to remove two of them to have the slot working, finding the drivers was easy- search for Intel’s 10gigbit Ethernet pack- then update manually on device manager

me ha llegado la tarjeta es muy buena es una de las tarjetas que he probado con vmware esxi 8, las maquinas virtuales van casi nativo a nivel de red.

Works great in my TrueNas server. Only issue i had was power draw on the 24pin connector but it was solved by taking the extention off.
