Host Dry Carpet Cleaner - 12 lb. Bucket

I've used HOST for over 30 years. I was a professional HOST carpet cleaner for 12 years following a corporate career. I still have my two freestyle machines and would never use ANYTHING else on my carpets. HOST Sponges are good for spot cleaning, but I recommend hiring a professional HOST cleaner, with the HOST machines that will both clean and pile lift your carpets for that new fluffy feel between your toes. HOST is an organic sponge with a tiny amount of moisture. They clean your plastic (nylon) carpets like you clean the hard surfaces in your kitchen and bathroom. My wife and I are both retired and love to walk barefoot after cleaning with my HOST machines; very soft. It does not stain synthetic carpet fibers, and I've never seen it stain natural fibers like wool. Nor cotton or sisal if used correctly. It is the only method I've heard recommended for sisal, which is a plant fiber that will discolor with water cleaning.

Make sure to put partial container that tightly lidded and store in a large zip type plastic bag So the product stays fresh

Not as effective or easy to use as what Oreck used to sell. Still hunting I guess foe that Oreck replacement.

I love this cleaner and it has cleaned areas that nothing else worked on. It leaves the carpet fresh and clean. Empty your vacuum frequently as the dry powder does full up the canister. I use it; n car mats too. I genuinely think it's the best carpet cleaner!❤️

Terrible product. If you want stain or ruin your carpet this is your product. The cleaner is brown and will stain your carpet. There is a reason all the other brands are white. (get capture brand it works and won't ruin your carpet or stain them)
