Does what it says on the tub!

I haven't used Silver Dip for decades. It's very expensive at £10 a jar, but it's still the same stuff. Smells vile (it always did) but that's the result of the chemical reactions that get rid of the tarnish. It works well and quickly and the smell goes when the itms are washed. Mine didn't leak in the post but the liquid is slightly cloudy. White stuff collects at the bottom of the jar if it's left undisturbed. This didn't happen when I last used it (about 45 years ago). The liquid is thin so it gets into all the unreachable bits. Note that this removes tarnish, but it's not a polish. If you want shiny, polish it afterwards. It's much easier if you've already got rid of the tarnish.

Been using this for over 55 years. It's the easiest -especially now my hands are arthritic. No rubbing and my silver service comes out sparkling. Best and easiest out there.

Great product for silver cleaning ! But be careful not to leave the silver in for too long and dont put anything with pearls on it or gemstones as it ruins the lustre of the pearls and gems

Bottles not big enough for dipping dinner cutlery, the result is disappointing compaired to a product now off the market HG silver dip.
