As to be expected with Beardbrand, this is a top-notch product with a great scent. I use this in my hair everyday and have used it in my mustache as well when it needs a little help with some fly-aways. This is not a strong hold though. If you plan on going through a wind tunnel, this won’t hold it. But for everyday, more natural hold, this is great.

It's was tough for me to grow my beard, but with this one, I got to tell you. The scent is amazing, it never changes into a bad odor. Nicely hold the beard. Iay want to try the firmer one, but I appreciate the effort in working on the scent of it. Easy to apply, dries well, beard looks sexy, functions very well, durable, and looks health.

Tiny amount for the price, but that might be a humanitarian effort on the maker's part. You'll be subjected to its objectionable scent for a shorter period. Got "lumberyard scent". Uh, no. Edit: been using product, about to reorder. Great hold, matte finish makes my beard look great. Have grown to love the scent too. This company must be run by bearded guys, they make great products.

Love the medium hold, control, and satin finish with Beardbrand's styling paste. It has an awesome texture that is easy to work into your hands and then into my hair and beard. The styling paste rinses away very easily in the shower as well. A little bit of product, about a dime size for me goes a long way so I'll get good mileage out of the 2oz. jar. Pearl Snap is Beardbrand's terrific new fragrance, so using the styling paste in addition to the utility oil is a great way to layer on an awesome nostalgia-inspired scent. Looking forward very much to Pearl Snap releases in utility balm and sea salt spray to incorporate more awesome Beardbrand products and this great fragrance into my grooming routine!

The product itself offers a medium hold, so if you sweat, this product will make your beard heavier. You don't get a large amount of the product based on the cost, but BB is generally one of the more pricier product lines, so that didn't bother me. The smell is a mix of WD-40 and rubbing alcohol, so I recommend a half-a-dime sized amount. One good byproduct of this paste is that the moisturizing effect on my hands is awesome. That smell, combined with the size and price makes this product a one-time purchase.

Whether sporting a Burger King curly coif or Gimli Gravy Trap style, this stuff works. A manly scent with a bit of beardly swagger...

The smell is atrocious. The hold is fine...but the smell ruins it fully. For the cost that one pays for this, I would expect a decent smell...not a chemical nasty scent. Do NOT recommend. Very disappointed

I’ve been using Beardbrand products since 2013. Started with the humble beard oil with a couple fragrances, then beard balms, utility balms, styling balm, styling paste, etc. There were tons of hits with only a couple misses. This styling paste is a hit. A little goes a long way. I get a small amount on my fingernail, rub it in my hands, then quickly through my hair then beard. Beard doesn’t have an oily finish and doesn’t dry out. Same with the hair. Gives my hair the exact type of hold I need without feeling crunchy and gel-like. Better than a greasy pomade. This stuff is perfect. Highly recommend. Pictures of beard and hair for reference. Easy to wash out, holds all day, and super inexpensive!
