Can these be seen from three miles away?

No.. these are not the required hazard avoidance night light that can be seen 3 miles away. These are good for line of sight navigation lights only.

They are water resistant NOT WATER PROOF! Neither is my drone! Nor resistant or proof! IDK what you intended use would be and I would be interested.... For the cheap price they are OK! They meet the FAA requirements and you should bulk buy the lil batteries if not at Harbor Freight if you fly often
