I wanted to leave a review because when I purchased mine there were mixed reviews. I have no idea what the less than 5 star review customers were doing. This thing is great. It sits out in the rain and keeps the food dry. I trained the chickens to use it by placing food in the feed lips. It took 5 minutes to assemble.

This is a great feeder it is easy to assemble and good instructions. It holds a lot of feed up to 80 lbs and lasts almost a month long with feeding it with 12 chickens. I highly recommend this feeder. Yes it is a bit pricey but I am telling you it is worth every penny

This feeder holds 100 lbs of pellets. Well over the rated capacity. Be sure to have a solid and level foundation for the feeder. I have had good luck using concrete blocks to get the proper height for our birds. Some very sharp edges, and the birds like to sit on top of the feeder. Once those issues are resolved I would give it five stars.

I’ve been letting my chickens waste food for quite some time. They pick and choose what they want to eat, and with the cost of fee continuously going up, I decided to give this feeder a chance. All the metal within the kid are well-made and all the parts fit as they should. The plastic feeders themselves seem a little cheap, but I feel they’ll do just fine. Considered. Assembling the feeder took less than a half hour not being rushed. I was able to consolidate two feeders into one. I’ve already saved quite a bit of time, and look forward to having this feed my flock. I decided to takeoff the big sticker and give it more of an industrial look. It only took the chickens a few minutes to figure out how to use it and it’s quite difficult for them to make a mess. Overall, it’s a great feeder and I feel it’s worth the money. It reduces wasted food, which saves you money and helps keep the vermin away. The lid closes perfectly over the top, but as you can see in the picture, I didn’t have it latched

Very good quality, stands up to our goats often knocking it over. Like the caps for sealing the feeder up at night to deter mice/rats. Easy to put together (my 9 yo daughter did it). Holds enough feed for 2 days for a dozen chickens. Love that there is so little feed wasted.

Holds so much feed for our 4 ducks last well over 2 weeks once topped off. Very durable easy to refill on top and handles make it easy to move around.

For the price it should have been easier to assemble. When I looked in the box I decided to return it right away. My chickens would prefer simplicity. I thought this would help avoid wasted feed but I’m doubtful my chickens would want to eat out of the cups. I found a great feeder at Tractor supply for 9.99 that they love and holds 7 pounds of feed. And it is easier to fill.

This comes in’s box not assembled. Looks like about an hour to put together. Last year I had mice in my coop. They chewed holes by the door. This feeder looks like an answer to my problem. Not having feed readily available for the mice to eat. I like that it is metal not chewable. Weather resistant unlike plastic that breaks down in the sun light. These type feeders keep the chickens from scratching the feeder out.

The chooks still waste food out of the holes.
