I placed this unit in my pool pump’s leaf strainer. After approximately 24 to 48 hours, all the algae was dead without the need for shock or any other treatment. However, after shocking it, the blooms ceased to reappear, and I haven’t had to shock it in the past two weeks. It's so easy to use just toss it in and let it do its thing no hassles. It's saving me so much frustration and fits perfectly for my pool size 5k gallons

Working well
Been using for a month now. My first time. Water is clear. Seems to be effective.

Works but has ruined my liner.
This is the 3rd season I have used one. They work but for some reason this year it has stained the bottom of my pool. My pool was clear when I put this in but I had some mild algae growth and wanted to use this to keep it under control. I have scrubbed and scrubbed these spots. As you can see, the pool is crystal clear but my liner is now ruined! I’m so sad about this.
