We don't frequently mount gear on the roof so I didn't want to spend a fortune. At the same time, I didn't want a piece of junk, especially something that is attached to the top of your car going down the highway at 70 mph. After comparing various options and checking reviews I discovered this set of cross bars for our '24 Pilot TrailSport and they seemed to be the perfect balance of quality and price. The components are all solid aluminum - no plastic other than a protective bumper strip on the top of the bars. All components were well packaged and arrived without any scratches or other damage. Installation is straightforward although the printed instructions fail to mention the adhesive foam gasket pads at the rail mounting points. Fortunately, it's both intuitive these should be installed and also there are several YouTube installation videos that point this out. The components are marked with both printed stickers and also arrows molded into the brackets indicating installation orientation. The end result is confidently sturdy and good looking as well. While not absolutely required, it is helpful to have two people for installation to avoid any paint damage to the roof. If I had any complaint, it would be the screw hardware provided. The screws seem of decent quality and I did not encounter any concerns of length as a few other reviews seem to mention (though it's difficult to know if they were installing correctly), but the shiny stainless finish kind of stands out against the black finish of both the roof rails and these bars themselves - I would prefer black screw hardware to be included. However, if this is the extent of concern with a product of this type then that shows how good it is overall. A few screws are cheap at the hardware store if I desire to swap them out (or simply apply some dark nailpolish to the screw heads). While we have not yet carried anything substantially heavy or oversized like canoes, we did use it to bring our Christmas tree home recently. The solid aluminum construction of these cross bars would seem to suggest their 200+ lb rating is accurate. While anything mounted to a vehicle's roof will create some additional wind noise, I have found the 'winged' type swept oval design of these cross bars fairly quiet and certainly not obtrusive. In general, I am satisfied with these cross bars and would suggest them to others.

Purchase for a pilot 2021 special edition. Figured out a few tips and tricks to install them. All the parts are accounted for,a screws washers ect. They give an extra one for all parts.The bars and brackets themselves are clearly marked front/back. All very self-explanatory easy to install. The bars themselves on the underside have two adjustable bolts that lock in once they're in the brackets. On the roof of the car I laid out the plastic wrap that the parts come in to lay out the brackets & bars.I assembled the bar to the brackets inside down ,this way I way able to attach the bar and adjust the bolts on the under part. On one side I tightened it with the two bolts. Turned it right side up installed one bracket to the car rack then the otherside was a farther distance with the bar. I needed to take out one of the two screws to get more length on the bar than I was able to attach the bracket to the car and tighten all the screws. on one side by the bracket I have two screws tightened and on the other side to give extra length I have one screw. On the rear/back bar I did it on the opposite. where I have one screw I used two. Where I have two screws I have one. It's very sturdy, good quality. The brackets are painted black, so in a couple spots the paint chipped. It doesn't affect the structural integrity of the function of this car rack. It's aesthetic only There's no rattle when you drive. I have nothing on top of it. This rack will stay up the life of the car. I'll do an update review after I've used it over the summer

I put these cross bars on my 2019 Honda Pilot and the fit perfectly. They are heavy duty, appear well made, and attach very securely. I've mounted a Yakima roof carrier on them and gone long distances with zero problems - cross bars still rock solid. Good product, well packaged, arrived quickly and easy to install and use.

Purchased for 2025 Trax 2RS. Much cheaper than the GM part. only took about 30 minutes to install. The instructions were pretty clear. The bar-end connectors seem to be some kind of pot-metal, they are a little heavy but the quality seems good enough and I feel that they are plenty sturdy. The bars fit well. My issues are more with the connection points on the roof (a GM problem, not a problem with this rack). The connection points create a pretty small, or short, roof rack front-to-back. I haven't found saddle mounts that specifically fit these bars (like for kayaks or paddleboards) yet.

I love the roof rack cross bars. It makes my car look very sporty. While also making it convenient to all smaller bags without cluttering up the car. These were so well worth it and very good sturdy bar is going across.. The instructions were very easy. They’re very durable. They’re very sturdy. The size was perfect and so far they are rest resistant. You can’t go wrong with these.

Perfect fit for 2022 GMC Acadia! These are the ones you need. They do have the slight tapper in bracket as our running rails are tampered to the rear of vehicle. They are very well built. Function perfect exactly how you would hope. Have had my older Yakima roof box clamped on for several road trips now. Fits perfect. Instructions are straight forward. Heavy duty and built to last. Definitely will hold 260lbs. Highly recommend would buy again! Tips... Install crossbar to both brackets before install. Not too tight needs some wiggle. Use the reflection from car roof to see the 2 little screws under the bracket to lock cross bar. Got 8 of them so it will help huge. The rest it cut and dry. Use the front ones for front and rear for rear. Snug down bracket screws tight but don't go crazy and strip threads. (Keep little wrench in glove box. I check now and again. Not loosened yet)

These are incredibly sturdy, high-quality cross bars that fit 2023 Jeep Compass perfectly.
