CERAKOTE® Ceramic Glass Coat Protectant - Hydrophobic Automotive Rain Repellant, Long-Lasting and Durable Ceramic Coating, Quick and Easy Application

I coated the front and back windows of my 21 year old SUV and it turned out great. I had no idea what to expect, but the windows are clean, clear and shed water. I decided to do all the windows on my family's two daily drivers. It has been surprisingly great. I watched a couple videos for instructions, got the claybar mitt from Cerakote for prep, and used Invisible Glass as my cleaner. Took less than an hour per car. Highly recommend.

I have always been skeptical on windshield coatings, that they would smear and not work. This product is amazing. My wife doesn't see well at night and struggles when it is raining hard with the road spray. She doesn't treat her wipers well either running them too fast or not using wiper fluid to clean it. That being said I decided to clean, buff out the imperfections and apply the Cerakote. It was a simple process for anyone who can wash or wax a car. I took it to work this morning with light rain and even at 40 MPH the water was running off the windshield. I did install new wipers as well and they smoothly wiped off all the water like the windshield was brand new. I would highly recommend

Works very good. Price is vety good. The gloss is superb. It's not sticky. The smell is minimal. As far as durability I can't say this early.

the window i was able to use this product on looks great but only one of the four coating packs wasn’t bone dry so i was unable to coat all my windows

For the price I couldn't believe how good this works. I will say defintely watch the video on the product listing for help to install, it seems self-explanatory but there are improtant tips on how warm it needs to be, how long to wait and what to look for. It is very easy to install you just need the right conditions. I'd say each box is for one car and one use if you do front and back or even side windows. We have tried special wiper fluid but this is a more permanent solution. Not sure how often I will need to reapply this yet but the prices makes it tolerable. I will be doing this to all of our cars come Spring - so far I just did my teen son's car since its older and he needs all the help he can get! I did not see any residue after using and it is helping with the snow and rain beading off his windshield.

I had heard using the ceramic windshield coating makes it so you hardly need wipers... I found this product and decided to give it a try. It was pretty easy to apply with the provided instructions. Anyway. I can't comment on how it works in the rain since it hasn't rained since I applied it but im shocked how clean it stays. You know how hard it can be removing the bugs from your windshield, it can take some force. I can now literally use the wipers to remove them. What the wipers can't remove are easily wiped off with a microfiber cloth! I want to coat my whole car with this stuff! 😆

It is a great product and easy to apply. Some key aspects to be aware: It comes with four pouches and can be applied to two cars. Each pouch has a patch soaked into the product. You can apply the patch into the front windshield and on the two front-side windows. But, if the product is almost dry. Don't try to spread on the window and let it dry like you did on the first application. This is because if you don't apply generously, it will dry out quickly and will leave a haze. Or, you should buff the side windows quickly to not let the product dry-out and leave haze. I would say, apply generously on the front windshield and read window only with two pouches. I did apply for a Subaru Crosstrek Sport. (To have an idea, the side of the windshield and other windows) But considering, this is the best budget ceramic glass coat on the market today. You can use all four pouches and apply to all windows if you prefer. (maybe you can use three pouches and leave one to reapply the windshield later) For the price that you buy this kit, it is the best bang for the buck.

Cerakote has been coming out and hitting the detailing very hard. Their price and the results are hard to beat. I have used their trim restorer with great results. I saw this glass protectant and decided to give it a try. I watched their own installation video and decided to try it and for the price, it is cheaper than the other alternatives like Adams's ADS, or Gyeon. First, these are wipes unlike the competitor's where the product comes in a bottle and you need a microfiber on a block to apply. After using Cerakote's wipes, I prefer the latter. For the bottle and block applicator, I can control how much product I am using, for the wipes, I cannot. You do need about 2 (or 3) of the wipes just to do the windshield. The pack only gives you for, so if you plan to do all your exterior glass, including the sunroof (why not?), you may need multiple packs for one vehicle. After applying the wipes, it took an insane amount of pressure to buff with their included microfiber towel. Also, for whatever reason, when buffing with their towel it produces static, as I shocked my self multiple times. In addition to that, there is a tremendous amount of friction (or towel drag) and it feels like I am buffing dried on caked wax. Which brings me back to my previous point, I probably am using too much product because the wipes does not allow me to control the amount of product I am using. After spending too much time on the windshield just to buff the product, I decided it isn't worth my time. There are other options on the market that is easier to buff off.
