This is the 2nd one of these purchase one fixed a golf bag zip and the other the suitcase. Don’t go for a cheaper option they simply don’t work…trust me

Old zip says size 8. Zip measurement is 8. Have replaced with your large zip. I now have to tighten it so much that i can't get it to marry up the 2 sides of jacket ( because it's too tight). If I them loosen it, the teeth don't come together, so it won't zip up. Item not suitable for this.

Very good. It does what it say's very easy to install and fit.Mine did break but went to customer support and they were easy to get along with and provided me with replacements.

Right size and fitted easy but quite hard to slide just kept coming off.

So this is a fantastic easy fix for broken zips, however, it does sometimes tend to unscrew itself and pop apart, so you're best to check it's tightened properly before you use it. It does however provide good value since a zipper repair would normally cost even more.

This item did exactly what I needed it to.When I busted the zipper on my toolbar, I thought I'd be forking out £150 for a new one. I found this zip replacement and thought I'd take a pint on it for £14. It paid off. Fixed up my bag and happy days.

Absolutely brilliant product. I have tried a variety of other solutions prior to this one and all of them have had one fault or another in their design. This zip was originally discounted as a solution due to its price but, after trying the cheaper options, having mixed success and, ultimately failing I decided to purchase it and I'm glad it did. Firstly, it's made of metal, whereas others are sometimes plastic. Secondly, and here is where it stands out, you are able to fit the zip without messing with the existing teeth on the zip mechanism. Other hinged zip solutions are either flimsy in their construction, don't bind the teeth correctly or the locking screw doesn't hold after a few pulls of the zip. Fixed zip replacements need to have parts of the zip strip removed to fit the mechanism, which weakens them. So, I wish I'd purchased this zip in the first place and I'm glad I now have it. My only advice, which the seller alludes to, is to ensure that you check the teeth spacing to get the correct size. It's very simple to confirm and the seller's instructions onsite have images showing how to do it.

If I could give this more stars I would.The customer service was awesome and they sent me a replacement after I bought the wrong zipper kit.Shout out to Ray and Jonathan for sending me the replacement and getting back to me promptly.While traveling, one of the airport attendants must have ripped off my zipper while in transit, because after 2 layovers from Copenhagen to Osaka, my luggage was missing a zipper.Now I could’ve replaced my luggage because of the missing zipper, but I’ve grown attached to my luggage since it’s gone to A LOT of places with me and has a ton of cool stickers on it. I tried another zipper kit, but it didn’t work, plus it was a bit painful to try to put together. Now this, THIS, this is it. It was easy and quick. Now I don’t have to look for a replacement.For those wondering, why not just use the 1 measly zipper that was still attached? Well, when you like to buy souvenirs, you pack your bad boy to the brim where it looks like it needs a girdle to stay together. Having the second zipper was peace of mind that my luggage wouldn’t implode from the things I packed.I will note, sometimes the teeth do not fully connect, but I don’t think it’s the products fault. Through various travels, the teeth of the zipper have become crooked or have snags of thread between them, so I believe this causes the zipper to go over the teeth and not fully close them. I found you just have to finagle it a bit and it’s good to go.Love the product, it works and the customer service is awesome.

Ich brauche den für einen Reissverschluss von einem Sofa-Bezug der ziemlich unter Spannung steht und war zuerst etwas kritisch ob der das Packt. Aber das Teil tut es einfach und der Reissverschluss hält. Die "Montage" war auch einfach und ging ohne Probleme.Klasse!5 von 5 Sternen, 100% Empfehlung!

This little invention has saved us so much money. We used it to replace the broken zipper on our upholstered linen sectional and instead of paying hundreds to have it repaired, this little zipper did the trick. I’ve also used them on clothing and pillow covers!
