Sturdy, but difficult to use with shims
I've built several structures using Maker Pipe connectors, but decided to try this much cheaper alternative. These connectors are sturdy and well built, but they are a much brighter finish than the Maker Pipe connectors. Since the EMT pipe they're used with is generally quite dull, that makes them stand out. Not necessarily a bad thing, but something to consider as you decide whether to purchase. But they are much, much more difficult to use on 3/4 EMT pipe, using the provided shims, than a connector that is actually made for 3/4 pipe. It's quite difficult to push a pipe, with shim, into a fitting, and ensure that both the pipe and the shim enter the connector. I had to keep loosening up connectors to get the shim portion to go inside, or otherwise adjusting the shims, and it took up enough of my time that I really don't think the cost savings was worth it. If you are using a pipe size that doesn't need shims, this would be great.

great clamp, works very well
It's a better design compared to the original version, original version uses 3 separate pieces, it was hard to put them together. ... This is an improvement from the old version.

3 way conduit fasteners
These were a pleasure to use ,they served the purpose perfectly. I will probably be able to get some in the future

Small projects great, large projects requires the diagonals to hold things.
Don't trust the friction fit, get some self tapping screws to go through the holes in the product to hold the conduit. If building a project with large spans and tall legs you should also add the diagonal attachments sold separately. Some projects will require multiple people to hold things in place while assembling. I used these to make a frame 8 feet tall, ten wide and 20 long to hold up bird netting over a berry patch.

Labeled as 3/4" but are 1" with shims to make it fit 3/4"
These are not 3/4" clamps. They are labeled OUTSIDE AS 3/4" w/ shims, but are actually 1" clamps with shims to make it 3/4" and labeled INSIDE the box. The description makes it sound like the shims are for, but what they really are for is to make the 1" clamp fit the 3/4" pipe. Shims wiggle, degrade and break. Not good for outdoor projects like mine. Janky.
