Does not include charger and is not compatible with quick chargers for cell phones. And this information is hard to find. Quick start guide says nothing so I put it on my Quick charger which I'm sure dramatically shortened the battery life. They should include a charger at this price point 👉 👈 👇 🙄

I can figure most things out without reading instructions. I'm a tech person and I couldn't figure this out for the life of me. I watched a youtube video and read the "instructions" but I couldn't get it to work.

I don’t often use a gimbal, and the no-frills, budget model I’ve had for years has generally served me well. The high-end appearance of the ZHIYUN Smooth 5S AI gimbal definitely caught my attention. Depending on the type of shooting you do, your tech savvy and risk tolerance, this gimbal has many advanced features to offer. For my purposes, I’ll be getting by without them. At a minimum, I wanted to check the device firmware status and perform an auto-calibration, both of which are available through the companion software. I selected the free rather than the “full” subscription app version download—an unexpected option that I found off-putting. But things got worse. The firmware is a PTZ file type, which despite using several apps, I spent way too much time trying to open. That may have been a good thing, because when I tried to run the calibration exe. file, it was promptly quarantined by McAfee Antivirus—this after having to click my way past countless intrusions by those annoying ads in the app offering to update ALL my drivers on nearly every screen. Don’t know how they get there. Don’t want them. The app is home to many of the advanced features. Fortunately, it is not needed for basic tracking, which suits me fine as the majority of my gimbal use will be hand-held video in Point of View mode that does not require gyrating finger gestures, display effects or single-click video editing templates. The basic ZHIYUN controls are easy to operate, and the movements are smooth and configured as expected. The camera mount that swivels from portrait to landscape orientation is a plus, but I found the Mode/Battery/Status indicator light panel to be small and difficult to read. The Smooth 5S has a substantial in-hand feel and a comfortable, rubbery grip. There is a built-in fill light with a harsh but adjustable output. Additional lights are sold separately. Included are a compact tripod, a Service Card and VIP & Warranty Card, a ZHIYUN Prime One-Year Membership Card, a USB Type-C charging cable, a quick start guide and a Disclaimer and Warnings booklet.

Nice gimbal stabilizer for your iphone or other phones, it holds the phone tight while shooting video. It is well made, is easy to operate and comes with detailed instructions. A great value.

I've been working my way through phone gimbals for ages now, trying to find the best. This Zhiyun tops the rest, easily. I use a Zhiyun gimbal professionally and always swear by them so this phone gimbal is no different. Easy instructions to follow if you haven't balanced one before and quick too. Battery life is excellent, beats all others by far. This is the only gimbal I have bought and used that doesn't tilt to one side when filming with the mobile phone in vertical mode, for reels etc. Perfectly plumb unlike pretty much all the DJI gimbals I've used before. Highly recommended!

Wenn man all die positiven Bewertungen liest und dann noch dazu die YouTube-Videos ansieht, in denen das Gerät augenscheinlich funktioniert, dann ist man schnell frustriert und sucht die Schuld im eigenen Versagen, Fakt ist aber, dass dieser Gimbal nur dann so toll funktioniert, wenn man ein Smartphone hat, das ohne Hülle perfekt kalibriert wurde. Eine Bewegung mit der Gimbal nichts anfangen kann, sorgt schnell wieder Verwirrung des Gimbals und erfordert Geduld und ein neues Kalibrieren. Ich habe es nun geschafft ganz gute Videos damit hinzubekommen, bin aber von der Benutzerführung absolut enttäuscht. Das Gerät macht einfach keinen Spaß und die "Zwangsapps" dazu sind die reinste Katastrophe, welche alle Daten von euch erfragen, bevor Ihr das Gerät überhaupt nutzen könnt. Hinzu kommt das auch die Apps weit weg von Intuitiv bedienbar sind, alles ist unnötig kompliziert und auch hier kommt einfach kein Spaß auf. Gute Videos kann man hiermit definitiv machen, aber nur mit viel Vorbereitung und Arbeit, die eigentlich nicht erforderlich sein sollte. Störend kommt noch hinzu das dieses Gerät ab und mal spinnt und das Handy Display voll gegen die eigene Achse schlägt. Ich kann hier wirklich keinen einzigen Grund entdecken warum ich mir diesen Ärger jemals antuen sollte.
