The North Face Berkeley Daypack, Timber Tan/TNF Black, OS

Everything about this backpack is perfect! The size, the compartments, the quality, the color…all perfect. As with all North Face products, this is so well made. It’s not so big that it’s awkward and can still fit all the essentials. I’m 5’6” and it sits very comfortably on my back and I can wear it on one shoulder with no problem. There’s enough pouches to keep everything organized well. The straps are very well padded (but not bulky) and comfortable. The laptop pouch is well padded and fits my 13” MacBook. Can't wait to travel with this!

I purchased this for my 4.5 year old daughter to use for school. I wanted a separate flat compartment for papers (she has homework this year); a large compartment for her lunchbox, sweatshirt, etc.; at least one small compartment for miscellaneous treasures; and a water bottle pocket that was not mesh (the mesh always tears). It was impossible to find a kid's backpack with a separate compartment where her papers wouldn't get smashed when she crammed other things into her backpack. And this was the smallest backpack I could find anywhere that met my criteria. It's really well made, has not gotten dirty despite the light-colored fabric and bottom, and actually fits her fine (although she's big for her age). It would be a fine size for an adult too--I like it so much I would use it myself!

five stars because it’s a nice backpack and it is as described however, I didn’t read the dimensions or I did and I didn’t actually visualize them. It’s a little smaller than I thought it would be however I bought it for my 16 year old for school and he says he’s going to use it. It does fit a laptop but won’t fit too much else in the way of school supplies I don’t camp so I don’t know how it would do for that

Un excelente bolso, la marca respalda su construcción, super el color, los materiales, sus costuras. Se siente robusto y que no fallara. Tener en cuenta que es bolso no es muy grande y que la falta de compartimientos en su interior hace que siempre parezca desorganizado. En el compartimiento del portátil, llevo mi ipad de 13 pulgadas que tiene un case no muy grueso y entra apretado. Es un bolso para cargar elementos esenciales, si necesita cargar más que esto, puede buscar uno de mayor capacidad.

I bought mine two years ago and use it everyday when commuting to work, going out for the day, etc. It goes with me everywhere. It's the bag I will use when traveling and I want to pack an extra jacket, notebook, art supplies, snacks, and a small camera. It still looks the same. Great bag size -- not too small and not too large, exactly what I need for just the essentials. It would be even more perfect if it had 1-2 liter more capacity and an inside zipper pocket, but I cannot complain too much when it's held up the way it has.

Perfect for work. My husband was using a leather shoulder bag that he hated. He wanted a backpack but nothing looked dressy enough. I convinced him that this was the move and I was right. The color is amazing.

Scelto da mio figlio per rimpiazzare l'ennesimo zaino rotto. Non li tratta bene e pertanto avrei preferito qualcosa che almeno all'apparenza potesse dare un impressione di maggiore consistenza e robustezza. Devo dire che avuto tra le mani questo zaino non mi è apparso, pur leggero, così fragile e indifeso anche se tra le mani di uno poco accorto. Dovrebbe insomma permettergli di finire l'anno scolastico senza necessità di rimpiazzo. E' quello che mi aspetto e mi auguro.

Beautiful but the fabric and zippers are too stiff.

It is very comfortable and not heavy as the other bags can be. It is of high quality. I liked its color and the size. It is washable in the washing machine. Although it is little pricy, I am happy to pay little more for way better look, quality and brand. You won't regret. Thank you North Face for a good job!

Mochila bonita y práctica. Buena calidad.

Looks and feels nice, plenty of space inside the bag, well organized and the zips are sturdy, they won't be ruined or damaged any time soon, however, because it's white it gets dirty really easily.
