Edit after a few months of use: Wow! After trying several dehumidifiers across different price ranges and sizes, this one has completely exceeded my expectations. It runs quietly, and the added bonus of air purification is absolutely fantastic. I’m genuinely so pleased with it and would definitely recommend it. The app connectivity is excellent too – it makes controlling the unit so much easier. One improvement I’d love to see is a notification when the water tank is full, as I haven’t managed to get that working yet. If you’re house is quite humid , don’t shy to buy a bigger tank capacity, if you don’t want to use the hose draining function. This is by far the best dehumidifier I’ve ever owned. It extracts around 2 litres of water in 24 hours and has made a huge difference to the air quality in our home. It feels much fresher to breathe, and even our cats seem more comfortable with the improved humidity and purified air which is especially important in the damp climate of northern England. I’m honestly so satisfied with this product I couldn’t recommend it more. ( I’m not being bias) It’s absolutely worth the money!

This is a terrific buy. Got it during Black Friday. I'm so impressed, as it was so easy to set up, clear, concise information booklet, well packaged and using the QR code, within seconds I was able to register for free, for the 5 year guarantee. I bought Meaco Fan earlier in the year, and I was very impressed with the quality, sturdiness and sleek design of both products. It's going to improve, my winter condensation issues, filter the dog fluff, extract and dry my washing, free my radiators up, and after much, deliberation, like you do, think I have a bargin and a super dehumidifier with hepa filter. With a spare filter thrown in. Also easy to move around, with a sturdy handle, which fits snuggly into the design of the machine. A no brainer. Very very impressed. 5* all the way.

Does a good job for a dehumidifier for the purifier it has hard to know because it doesn’t measure air quality. The App could have more functions, A bit noisier when you pair it with a carbon filter (The company made this known as well). With HEPA filter, it is low noise, I can sleep with the laundry mode on. It has wheels under and they work.

Really good and Alexa controllable. Small size. Quiet, aside from the occasional ‘bonk’ as the compressor comes on. I had one of these in a small flat but it struggled to get the overall humidity down so I had to buy 2, the other one is a 25l version. Both togther keep a small 2 bed single storey flat dry. But one alone won’t do it.

The Meaco arete 12 is working perfectly, it is cheap to run and does the job we bought it for! It’s easy to move around with its caster wheels and very simple to empty. My allergies (I’m very sensitive to humidity) got drastically better since we have this dehumidifier and we should have got it before! A big plus is that it helps us dry our laundry way quicker and our clothes stoped smelling a bit damp in the winter when it’s been very hard to get anything to dry within less than 36h before. The connected App work great we can remotely turn the dehumidifier on and off and have notifications when the tank is full. The capacity is good for our flat and and we empty it once a day once every two days depending on how humid it is outside and if we’ve cooked or done some laundry. The auto feature is great as well to keep the level of humidity to a descent level. Since we have it the Meaco has been on at all time running on auto mode and it’s pretty quiet.

Excellent value for money, handles big spaces pretty well. I did have a problem with Meaco customer services sorted straight away. Comes with a long warranty. Found a leak recently, and had this running 24hrs a day for almost a month, and no problems. Excellent dehumidifier, would highly recommend.

Fantastic! Exudes quality and looks modern (for a square box) and seems well built. Easy to set up, not as quick as dehumidifying as my 20l PureMate unit, but that's to be expected and the Meaco is so much quieter. Again to be expected. I've got the unit in a 13ft X 12ft bedroom and it's doing a great job bringing the humidity down from c.80% to 55% in aless than an hour. Works well with Alexa too. So yes I'm very, very happy. Highly recommended!

Really impressed with the MeacoDry Arete Two 12L. It quickly brings humidity down and makes a big difference with condensation. The laundry mode is excellent and noticeably speeds up drying clothes indoors. It’s surprisingly quiet and cheap to run, so we’re happy leaving it on auto most of the time. The display is clear and easy to use, and the HEPA filter is a nice bonus for improving air quality. The app is good and I can control the unit with ease, the app also lets you know when the water collection needs emptied which I easy and quick to do. Overall, a solid, well-built dehumidifier that does exactly what it promises. Would happily recommend.

I watched a lot of reviews on YouTube before deciding on this. Having used this for the recent irish winter I wanted to leave my short review. I used it for one hour in the morning and one hour in the evening. I recommend downloading the Tuya app on Google play and adding the Areta to it. Works like a dream. You can even turn it on off when your not at home and you can use Alexa to work it if you have an Alexa device. No condensation on window, no damp air and no mold. Easy to empty and it looks the business too. Also the seller delivered it the next day. It is also an amazing air purifier and the laundry mode is so super handy in the winter.

The product came, and it doesn't work properly. The screen was broken. To return the item, they sent me a label, but I have to pay for the cost of returning it. That's incredible. If you have any other seller closer to you, I think it's worth ordering it there.
