Absolute favourite!
This book goes into my favorite list! Its a true story of Cheryl Strayed who goes out on a solo hike Pacific Crest Trail (PCT) for over 1100 miles. This trip was more of an escape route for Cheryl from the grief after her mother's death, to whom she was very close. She was inexperienced for a hike of that extent. But by the end of it she rediscovers herself. The story telling style of Cheryl makes it an absolute pleasure to read. I would say it a must read for all women. Amazon's service, as always, is great.

Honest, Intense and full of Life
Cheryl writes from the heart. This story is more than just a travelogue. Its an intimate portrayal of her vulnerable side. She tells us about her battle with depression and addiction. Also, the book is an antithesis of the self-help genre, thankfully. Some wounds need a lot of time and air to heal, is one of the core messages, which is beautifully told.

the longest trail
This is the story about the author’s journey around eleven hundred miles that is “Pacific Crest Trail”.How she achieved it,she narrated it in a beautiful way.Interesting to learn how passion makes difficult things to be done without out give up.

Powerful story, packed with raw emotion
A very well written book. It's more than a woman's tale of hiking across the Pacific Crest Trail. It's the story of life itself, with all its trials and tribulations, soul searing lows and a woman's determination to heal herself and get her life back on track. Simply brilliant!
