Purchase this set so my son and I could communicate and listen to music. Also missed not having to use earbuds. After reading numerous reviews and not really getting anywhere in my discision I chose this set. 1st the look cought my eye. Former other brand lower profile user I find most to look futuristically terrible and bulky. These didn't. Then there was the battery life and placenta of the buttons. Finally the hopefulness in the advertisement of a quality system for a wallet friendly price. I've been riding for 30+ years and doo most of my riding commuting on the highways /freeways at higher speeds. Most of the rides we attend are larger group rides. Currently ride a Ducati Monster. I've owned 3 other sets; 2 were well known popular brand/models and 1 cheap cheap (not recommended ever) pair. Arrived quickly and the packaging was excellent. Installation was easy opting to use the attached mics. Several rides and time has been taken to find the best place for the speakers using additional hook-n-loom pads as spacers to move the speakers as close to the ear as possible without sacrificing too much comfort. Also used a EQ app to provide a better adjustment in sound. FYI you should use a EQ if you haven't your missing out. Buttons are easy to use and locate with gloves. Tested also with winter all weather gloves with no issue locating the buttons. My 10yr son figured it out withing a few minutes of our 1st ride with these. He even figured out how to use the larger button to make a voice assisted phone call in that time. The units work well and have tested every function listed. The only complaint I could come up with is the volume could be raised a little. To be completely fair all Bluetooth intercom systems struggle with this. Music and calls are great while cruising around town, Son agrees. It's when we're out on the highway or with the large group rides that the vocals/voices gets drown out.its also an issue with using the intercom feature. Neither one of us can make out what each other is saying clearly and have to repeat a lot. Had this issue with other brands mentioned . This doesn't seem to be that case for being on the other end of a phone call. Reports are that there is very little to no wind noise and can be heard clearly. Riding around town at lower speeds are great with no issues hearing the other rider or person on a call. Now that that was said the sender did message about a software update available if found that the volume is too low to raise the volume. I've engage the seller and in the processing. Customer service has been friendly. I will definitely update with the results. This set is an great alternative to the 2 big companies in this realm. I didn't have another 400 to drop on a slim set and so far happy with my purchase. Will most likely by an additional set for my wife and daughter when they start riding next season. Ultimately the lower value at higher speeds kept me from giving this 5stars. If the update raises the volume I'll up my rating as I really like these. I have the new set and was able to try it out for a few all day rides and what an improvement. I assume the gain was increased possibly and was able to clean up the sound with the built-in EQ in my phone settings. Very happy with this model and great customer service. I just bought 4 of these exact intercoms. I use them with my 3 children so 4 of us connected together. First of all I've been teaching my girl how to ride motorcycles since she just got her permit. This is a mandatory piece of equipment to teach someone how to ride. She feels so much more secure knowing she can ask questions and get immediate feedback on her riding techniques. It's a game changer. The speakers are clear. There is no wind noise with the microphones and I wear a modular helmet sometimes with it open and the kiddos have closed full face helmets. These were so inexpensive compared to Sena and Cardo. The quality is great and I am very happy with my purchase. With all of us being able to talk during our rides, it is a different experience being connected to each other. Some people may not like the "chatter" but we love being able to talk to one another. I made a comment to my son that he might not like me reminding him of the speed limit so much and he just laughed and said he expected that from his mom! I paid $150 for 2 on Amazon. I watched a youtube video for visual instruction on how to use and that really helped me as I was struggling on how to mesh these. Once I visually saw someone else do it, it was easy. Highly recommend these.

The packaging it came in was more than sufficient to protect it from shipping "issues". Initial installation was fairly easy, but the mount for your helmet it very rigid and does not necessarily conform to the shape of anywhere on your helmet. This has led to me accidentally pulling the mount off my helmet when removing to charge the device. The charging port is recessed, preventing water from entering during rainstorms (I live in the PNW so this is great). You'll need to have a slim profile USB-C to be able to get into the port to charge it. The battery life is great, I usually only have to charge it once a week from daily riding. The sound of the music is "Meh", but I wasn't expecting Sennheiser quality for 100$. Phone calls are (I'm told) clear and nobody notices I'm riding during the call unless someone honks. I can highly recommend this product for every use aspect expect the mounting plate it comes with, so well worth your time and the price (1/3 of a nice Cardo with similar features)

Wir fahren schon mehr als 15 Jahre mit Intercomsystemen der verschiedensten Herstellern Motorrad. Da das letzte System doch in die Jahre gekommen war und der Akku generell max. 4 Stunden gehalten hat musste für unsere Bayerntour ein neues Intercom System her. Nach langem Suchen habe ich mich für das XGP entschieden, da wir nur zu zweit fahren und ich ein leicht zu bedienendes System mit wenig Schalter (Handschuhgerecht) suchte. Der Einbau erwies sich einfach und man hat die Wahl zwischen dem Fesklemmen oder kleben eines Halters am Helm. Die Bedienungsanleitung ist minimal, und etwas klein geschrieben, aber durch die Symbole gut zu verstehen. Das Koppeln geht sehr schnell und einfach. Wenn man ein Navigationssystem über Bluetooth koppeln und mit dem Partner spricht, wird die Verbindung nur für die Zeit einer Ansage kurz und angenehm (leiser >lauter) unterbrochen. Die Reichweite durch Häuser und Bäume wird stark reduziert, reicht jedoch in der Praxis vollkommen aus. Bei freier Sicht konnten wir ca. 1km die Verbindung halten. Das liegt aber an der Bluetooth- Technik, da war das alte Funksystem natürlich besser. Sobald man wieder in Reichweite kommt wird die Verbindung wieder hergestellt. Das Sysrem hat noch die Besonderheit des Mithörens, so daß man gleichzeitig die gleiche Musik hören kann wenn ein Gerät mit dem Smartphone gekoppelt ist. Hier nun die kurze Zusammenfassung unsere Tour: Die Akkus haben unsere ca. 19 Stunden Fahrzeit ohne aufladen gehalten!! Die Sprachqualität ist echt die Beste die wir bis jetzt hatten. Mit unseren zwei verkleideten K1200RS konnten wir uns jeder Zeit gut und klar verständigen. Da die Nebengeräusche durch das Mikrofon eliminiert werden, muss man nur auf die richtige Positionierung der Mikrofone achten. Das heißt, das Mikrofon sollte die Nebengeräusche bis zu Mund mitbekommen und nicht in eine Geräuschgeschützte Position gebracht werden. Durch leichtes umpositionieren kommt man schnell dahinter wo die perfekte Geräuschsunterdrückung ist. Die Lautsprecher sind gut anzubringen und die Nähe zu den Ohren konnte ich durch die beigelegten unterleg- Schaumgummischeiben so einstellen, dass selbst bei > 120 km/h eine gute Verständigung möglich war. Es kommt natürlich auf den Helm und das Motorrad an. Alle Geräusche vom Wind oder vom Motorrad werden einfach weggeschluckt, jedoch kann das System natürlich nicht das Rauschen vom eigenen Helm reduzieren. Man erhält bei dem Set jeweils 2 Mikrofone. Eins zum direktes ankleben und das andere als Schwanenhals. Das Koppeln geht schnell und einfach. Die Bedienung ist leicht. Die Lautstärke ist sehr gut. Der Klang für Stimmen ist top. Für Musik natürlich, alleine wegen des Einsatzbereiches, eher (wenig Bässe) eingeschränkt gut, aber besser als die anderen Systeme. Der System kann problemlos vom Halter genommen und wieder angebracht werden. Es ist von der Größe recht angenehm und man findet sofort die Schalter. Der Akkustand kann man während der Fahrt Akustisch abrufen. Bei der Tour hatten wir auch Regen und konnten keine Beeinträchtigungen feststellen, alles funktionierte so wie es sein sollte. Das Gerät wir über USB-C geladen. Kabel auf USB liegen bei. Das Preisleistungsverhältnis ist top. Wir können das System allen, die zu Zweit fahren, nur wärmstens empfehlen. Falls uns noch etwas in Zukunft auffällt , werden wir es hier schreiben.

L'installazione è stata rapida e semplice, con il dispositivo che si è integrato facilmente con il mio casco. La connessione Bluetooth è stata stabile, permettendomi di rispondere alle chiamate, ascoltare musica e seguire le indicazioni GPS senza interruzioni. La batteria è perfetta per le mie esigenze e mi permette di finire la giornata senza necessità di ricarica. non ho ancora provato la funzione di comunicazione con altri interfoni. mi riprometto di farlo nelle prossime uscite. In conclusione, il Cardo SPIRIT HD è un prodotto che consiglio vivamente a tutti i motociclisti. Con la sua connessione stabile, la comunicazione cristallina e l'ottima durata della batteria, rappresenta una scelta eccellente per chi cerca un interfono senza lasciarci le penne.

After having an angry wife because of not being able to answer her calls or texts while riding, also growing tired of being smacked in the helmet to slow down or stop when my wife was on back, I decided to get an intercom set to communicate with her and others while riding. Also to have some background music while on the road. After I did some very extensive research before buying, I have to say I am extremely impressed so far. I received the item in two days. Very fast shipping. The sound quality is phenomenal, very easy to install, and every feature works flawlessly. I have not tested in a group yet but will update when I do. The pairing together worked excellent and the functionality is very easy. Even the voice command worked perfectly. The sound quality is comparable to my high quality headset. The base is great and very loud. (Note-do not place speakers under the material in the helmet. It will smother the sound. The velcro allows you to attach over the material so it sits securely and has direct contact with your ear.) it also comes with two options for securing to any helmet and additional hardware for use on full face or open face helmets. The unit is also quick release and can be interchangeable between multiple helmets. (It comes with additional securing base and mic for open faced or additional helmets, However only comes with one set of speakers for each unit so would have to purchase a second set of speakers separately for the other helmet if you want this option. But a personal choice and a non issue for this review.) After reading some negative reviews, all I can say is that those people must have received a defective one or installed improperly because so far, these are above my expectations. Plus comes with a two year warranty. I would recommend these to anyone looking for an affordable, excellent quality, easy to operate intercom set. Again, if I encounter any issues, i will update, but so far very impressed. I give 5 stars. Update- did a road test. I have a Harley with modified exhaust and these were still great. Could still hear the bike, but was loud enough to enjoy the music. Loved the simple one button pause and play for quick pauses to speak to other riders. Voice command with Siri still worked great for voice calls and reading/sending texts on the road. Rode for several hours and headset still had lots of battery life when done. Even had a friend try on my helmet and try it out and he plans to also order a set. Also, it came with an additional 2 year warranty card which speaks volumes about the company’s confidence in their product. I highly recommend submitting for the extended warranty. Customer service replied immediately with a thank you email, an assurance of immediate support if required, and an additional thank you perk. With my many experiences on Amazon purchases, this company was hands down the best I have dealt with. I have recommended these to all my friends and recommend to anyone looking to get a set. Het verbinden met telefoon gaat direct goed en ook de verbinding met andere systemen is geen enkel probleem. Geluid is duidelijk en de bediening is ook met handschoenen aan goed te doen. De opgegeven maximale afstand met andere rijders heb ik nog niet geprobeerd maar verwacht dat de opgegeven afstand haalbaar is. Ik raad dit product aan
