I had been wanting to get a keyboard for my new iPad Air for white some time, however the price of the Apple Magic Keyboard deterred me. After reading the other reviews I decided to go with this Logitech version and I couldn’t be happier! So far there is not one thing that I don't love about this cover. The ease of using it as soon as I got it. Took it out of the box, put the cover on my iPad and then connected to the keyboard itself, which it does magnetically and is a VERY SOLID connection. Keyboard lit up and ready to go. It runs off your iPad thru the connection and doesn’t require any separate battery charge or cable. The response of the keyboard is phenomenal. The track pad is large and just as responsive. I sometimes forget that this is my iPad and not a laptop, it is that similar in use. Another feature I absolutely love is that if I just want to use the iPad for drawing, i can detach the keyboard and set it aside. The case is very strong and so well made, it is worth every penny i paid for it. The value is well worth it. I feel like i could drop this case from 10 feet up and nothing would happen, not that I EVER intend to do that, lol, but that is how sturdy this case feels. Even with the keyboard it is not bulky. I really cannot say enough good things about this case. If you are considering a keyboard case for your iPad, THIS IS THE ONE!!!

I wanted to like this case/keyboard combo. I have used several Logitech keyboards for my iPads, and they’ve been great. This is one is relatively sturdy and the keys feel great to type on. If not for one major flaw, I would think this is great. The flaw, however, is absolutely unforgivable. The touchpad cannot be disabled via software or hardware, and this leads to all sorts of issues when typing. (And that’s the whole reason you have a keyboard right? Toou expect to do a reasonable amount of typing.) Mid sentence, if your palm even so much as taps the touchpad, suddenly the iPad window will be resizing or highlighting and undoing parts of what you just wrote, or writing in another part of the screen. (In fact, I’m typing this review on this keyboard and I had to stop mid-review and fix something because I accidentally tapped the touchpad.) No software setting can fix this—not disabling Touch to Click, reducing scroll speed, whatever. The touchpad is always on and it’s just waiting to waste your time. I’d be happy to purchase another logitech keyboard but I am staying the heck away from anything with a touchpad that can’t be disabled. This thing is one of the worst user experiences I’ve had in 10 years of owning a tablet.

Very nice keyboard the case is ok

I ordered this as a slightly less expensive alternative to the Apple Magic Keyboard for my iPad. I put it on my iPad, tried it once and returned it. I liked the feel of the keyboard and the fact that it has a trackpad, which the Apple keyboard does not. What I did not like was the fact that the keyboard consists of two separate pieces: the keyboard itself and the "cover". They are not connected. Both attach magnetically: the keyboard to the back of the iPad and the "front cover" to the side of the iPad. So, there is no wrap-around protection like the Apple Magic Keyboard or indeed any basic tablet cover has. I use my iPad to read ebooks, play games, watch videos, etc. Being able to fold back the front cover is essential to those experiences. If you try to fold back the Logitech Case "cover" it just pops off the magnet. So, for me I knew it wouldn't work out. I would have given this 3 1/2 stars if I could.

Quality is great. This case fits the iPad Air perfectly. It is extremely versatile. I was worried about being able to use this style of keyboard in my lap - but it works just fine. The best part about this case is how slim and lightweight it is considering all of the functionality it offers. I purchased and returned two other iPad cases before finally landing on this one. The other styles of keyboard "cases" don't offer much protection - and most of them offer zero protection if you need to remove the keyboard and use the iPad by itself. This case allows you to remove the keyboard and use the iPad as a tablet while still offering full coverage AND the added functionality of having a kickstand. The only other case I found that offered protection when the iPad was removed was incredibly bulky and heavy. This case with the iPad in it weighs less than the other case without the iPad. Very happy with the product, hopefully it holds up well. If you travel and value lightweight packability but still need full functionality - this case is for you.

ANOTHER UPDATE: I hope it’s not annoying to read this review in reverse chronology. So now after purchasing this in February 2025 (it’s now August 2025), the trackpad is getting really wonky, where even if my hand gets close to it, it crazily deletes text and jumps the cursor all over the place. Also, now the backlighting is totally uneven. There’s bright light around the front and center of the keyboard, and the rest is dim. Maybe the quality of these is just not up to what I thought were high Combo Touch standards. I haven’t even used the keyboard much. Maybe once every two or three weeks. OK, on to my previous update before things got worse… UPDATE: The more I type on this, the more I struggle with accidental touches of the trackpad, making the cursor go all over the place and accidentally insert and delete text and such. I don’t ever have this problem on my MacBook, and I haven’t had the problem on previous Combo Touches. Otherwise, my excellent review below is still overall accurate. Maybe others’ typing technique will prevent the problem. Original 5-star review: I’ve had previous versions of these for two different iPad models in years past, so I was confident this would be just as good, but I was a little concerned that the Amazon reviews weren’t as good overall. Well, I’ve been using it for a couple months and can confidently say it’s as good as always. I’m not going to write a long “from scratch” review, but instead I will take it as axiomatic that Combo Touches are awesome. They’re way more affordable than Apple keyboards but are as good if not better than them. So, improvements from previous models I’ve used: - bigger trackpad, works great, basically as good as Mac - the case when detached from keyboard is a little less bulky and heavy-feeling. I used to take off the case from time to time with previous models, but this one I’m happy to leave on - nice dark color. Sleek and classy looking One small complaint: I miss the pencil holder. But that was an easy cheap fix by buying a separate pencil holder that I stuck on the back of the case. Great device for a reasonable price.

This was for daughter and her first impression was that "the trackpad was glitchy". At this price point I did not expect this feedback, especially from Logitech which usually has strong performance. In contast to the negative, the setup was extremely easy and the protection seems very good which brings the rating beyond one or two stars.

This product is incredible!!! It seamlessly connects to your iPad and turns it into a powerful laptop. Very impressed with the quality and the keyboard. The backlight on the keyboard is great and the feel of the keys is Logitech perfect. Also the trackpad works great, mouse pointer works really well, feels just like a laptop. The kickstand is strong. The keyboard disconnects when you remove it. The case itself is a little heavy but it’s robust and will keep your iPad safe from damage. It’s really quite an impressive product. Very happy with this purchase.

Encaja a perfección con el Ipad air y funciona muy bien para uso rudo. Si deseas dar al Ipad un uso similar a una laptop, hay que complementar con un buen mouse y entonces la experiencia será similar. Otra recomendación es escoger bien la configuración del idioma, En mi caso lo pedí en Inglés pero , por su tamaño , si deseas escribir en otro idioma habrá qua aprender al equivalencia y las teclas de comandos y funciones.

I’m very happy with this keyboard case. It cost more than I planned to spend, but the quality is worth it. The keyboard works well, and the case feels solid and protective. I especially appreciate the detachable keyboard because I use my iPad on the treadmill. With the case on, I feel confident that my iPad is well protected while I run. Great buy overall.

Very happy with the purchase. Like : Fits iPad Air 11 inch snugly and protects the edges as expected. Keys and track pad are awesome..!! I am a repeat Logitech customer having brought earlier combo case for my iPad Air 3rd generation and it served me well. Good to have : Having a strap to keep Apple pencil in place would have helped.

Nice keyboard for iPad Air. It is a bit on the heavy side and the keyboard can not fold back on the iPad. Otherwise it’s a good combo. Keyboard detaches which is nice but it would have been better if you can completely fold it back on itself. Good feel for the keyboard. Nice lighting effect on keys. Seems to be robust protection too.
