Original Lensball, K9 Crystal Ball with Microfiber Pouch, Photography Accessory (Pro 80mm)

I have 2 other lensballs that are smaller and from a different manufacturer but this one trumps them. The quality is stunning and I get clear pictures every time. It is very durable too. On a recent hike it rolled away from me and over rocks. You can imagine the dread. But it was completely fine! The picture submitted with this review was taken after my balls tumble. Still flawless. Would highly recommend for any photographer from beginner to professional . One word of caution I could give is holding it on a sunny day or having it on grass on a sunny day. Holding it for more than a few seconds in direct sun caused me to burn my hand. But that is unavoidable with this type of product so caution should be issued

Went on hollidays to Marrakesh and fancied taking the 60mm Lensball I had just ordered with me. I had never used one but I think the photos speak for themselves. Easy to use and spectacular results when you choose your subject and light conditions properly. Also got the 80mm one but haven’t tried it yet, it’s a bit heavy for travelling but believe will get even better results. The smaller one fits unobstrusivelly in your pocket, though. Only issue is a Lensball stand is publicised to be included in package - it isn’t, neither in the 60 nor the 80mm one. But for flawless built construction and packaging plus ease of use my rating 5* anyway.

Arrived quickly and very well packaged, the actual product box is really nice and well put together. Had to wait for a few days to use it as it was a present but used it today and just in the garden and the house there were so many interesting possibilities. I have used a zoom lens and a macro and my iPhone and all cams out very well. I’m going to buy the stand for my tripod as this will open up the possibilities. Word of warning, I had it in my hand thinking of the next shot and in no time at all I got a burning sensation as I was standing in sunlight so be very very careful. Pictures added we’re taken with my iPhone.

I bought the Lensball after seeing them all over my Instagram feed. I eventually bought one and was incredibly impressed straight away. It does exactly what you expect and gives photography a completely new dimension. One tiny thing I am struggling with personally is focussing on what is showing THROUGH the Lensball and not the surface of it - but that's not the product's fault at all. The product is incredibly solid - it needs to be taken care of regarding scratching etc. but that's expected. Absolutely brilliant product.

Bought the 80mm Lensball as a gift to go with a new camera. It is an intriguing item which hopefully over the next few months will provide some interesting and exciting memories to go with the usual sun, sea and sand pictures

Beautiful, clear ball!! Helps with taking some epic and crazy, creative photos! Great value for money! And it's not too heavy either.

Bought as a gift - they were very happy. No blemishes in the glass and appears to be great quality. It is a little heavy but worth it for the results

The lensball Pro that I bought is very clear and flawless the photo included is of the River forth Crossing taken on a very windy day by mobile phone, the clarity is good, I have since bought a tripod mount for this and am looking forward to getting some decent photos with my SLR, maybe even of the moon!, the photos zoom up quite well and I expect even better when mounted on a tripod

Ottimo prodotto secondo le aspettative. Il peso più di quello che immaginavo. Utilizzo non semplicissimo ma come ogni cosa occorre tempo per ottenere risultati soddisfacenti. Con supporto per tripiede preso a parte da un valore aggiunto per scattare senza mosso.

Keine unerwarteten Überraschungen - alles wie beschrieben. Super Qualität - gibt richtig coole Bilder. Was positiv zu erwähnen ist, ist dass ein kleines Fleece-Säckchen dabei ist, was die Oberfläche schützt. Gerne wieder. !!!ACHTUNG bei der Verwendung!!! Die Kugel ist aus Glas - also bei starker Sonne nicht so halten, dass die Sonne in die Kugel scheinen kann. Dabei wird der Strahl gebündelt und kann zu Verbrennungen in der Hand oder im Umfeld führen. Das liegt aber nicht an der Qualität der Kugel oder ähnliches, sondern am Verständnis des Benutzers - deshalb keinen Stern Abzug.

I've seen this device criticized as being a gimmick, which it can be and in which case you'll be disappointed. But if you understand that it's a tool for seeing in a different way and taking a fun shot that just might knock your socks off, it's perfect. I made the mistake of buying a modestly less expensive glass ball before this one, and was very disappointed because the quality of the glass was awful. So it really did come across gimmicky, because it was such poor quality. With this, I've been able to take some fun, creative shots that are striking. The quality is great, the microfiber bag helps keep the ball clear of fingerprints. Will it make you a great photographer? Of course not, but if you're an advanced novice or above, it will help you capture some interesting views, and once you've done that, you'll think of even more ways to use it. I have only one caution: I made the rookie mistake of trying it on the dash of a car to get a shot in the distance. The sun hit the ball just right, and within a couple of seconds the dash started to smoke. Fortunately I caught it right away and remembered what happened with magnifying glasses as a kid, and before I burned a hole in it. Be careful with that and I think you'll likely to enjoy it. And do bother with lower quality glass - this is the real deal.
