Shine Bright Like A Diamond!
OMGEEEE Absolutely stunning!! I bought this for a coworker so Iโm trying my best not to be selfish and keep it ๐ซฃ While itโs sure to be an eye catcher, I do notice the โchemicalโ smell that other reviewers mentioned. Itโs equivalent to the smell of resin (so exactly like the smell of MGAโs mini verse, make it mini items). Starting with the pen: The ease that normally comes with twist action pens is lacking. It requires a bit of force, so youโll need both hands for opening and closing this pen. After twisting the pen for this review only, the diamonds near that twist point are already uplifting, along with dried glue. I also tested out the quality of writing and Iโd compare it to a standard BIC ballpoint pen. The Book: The book is a bit stiff but Iโm sure itโll loosen up after being used a bit. I did notice the โstickyโ feeling along the edges of the front of the book, Its from the exposed glue points. Itโs honestly not that bad and after being handled a bit Iโm sure that will subside as well. Overall, I think this set is absolutely beautiful and fairly priced.
