Excellent rye flour
Excellent product. I used this dark rye flour to make authentic German rye bread; Volkorn brot.It blended into the dough very nicely with great rye flavor.

Good for SOURDOUGH STARTER…
Good flour. Use to enhance my sourdough starter. Makes a big difference. If your starter is sluggish this will give it the kick it needs.(for real) just use a large enough container, mine will triple in 4-6 hours every time using 50/50 bread flour/this rye. Will be trying sourdough rye bread next…yum!

A new experience.
I'd never tried fresh Rye Bread, so I decided to try out a recipe I found for my bread machine. I'd had a bit of store-bought Rye. Sad stuff. That is NOT what I am talking about. FRESH Rye Bread. Good grief, I have been missing something. This stuff is really good. If you have never tried FRESG Rye Bread, you certainly should. I've heard comments about ham on rye all my life, heard people order it, seen them eat it, but never really got into it until I got my bread machine. Should have tried it years ago. Now, I have to catch up. Time to try other Rye recipes.

A great product and great company to buy from
The product is amazing. I bake with it for my sourdough bread. I just didn’t realize that four came in every package. I ordered two packages thinking I was getting two packages. Well, my mistake but I asked for a refund and they gave me a refund and let me keep the product an amazing company easy to work with.
