Better Sheath
I bought this sheath for my Schrade SCHF 10 (seperate review). The biggest complaint seems to be the sheath it was supplied with. While the sheath is serviceable, I really wanted to up-grade to a better sheath as befitting the knife. I stumbled upon the Spec Ops sheath, 6", and took my chances. The sheath I received was outstanding. Great detail, great quality. The SCHF 10 fit perfectly. No issues, didn't have to remold the inner liner. I don't know if everyone will have that kind of luck, but the Schrade blade has a lot of steel, generous belly, so I think it will accomodate a lot of blades. Anyway, really satisfied with the purchase and I highly recommend it for those looking for a quality sheath at a reasonable price.

Love buying American
Fantastic sheath that fits my bk2 perfectly and replaced that accountant-designed sheath that Ka-Bar gives you. It has great retention and the adjustable handle strap only solidifies that more. The pocket is a generous size and fits my pocket pal and a magnesium fire starter well, although I'll probably buy a wave to put in there in the future. The multicam pattern is really nice and the nylon is high quality. My only gripe is that the "paracord" is not actual paracord or at least is not 550 but I have some lying around and I will likely weave through some of my own.Overall I am very satisfied with the sheath and I look forward to using it more in the field. I love that its an American product and I will likely buy another when I buy a larger knife as well.

Great Item...But Designed for Very Specific Blade Shapes.
PROS...1. Very well made of quality materials.2. Very well made in the USA.3. Same item is sold on Ebay for $10 to $20 higher.CONS...1. Would not fit or secure the knife I had bought it for...But I fixed that.2. Is actually bigger than it looks in the photos.I originally bought this sheath for a Boker Applegate-Fairbairn knife with a Besh Wedge pattern blade. The original plastic insert for the sheath would not hold the knife at all. It would rattle and would not even fit into the insert anywhere near securely. My fix had to be done with a bunch of stuff I bought from Home Depot.Q...Would I recommend this item?A...What is the design of the intended knife? If you own a knife like the "shorty" Ka-Bar, the short Becker camp knives or the short Randall Model 5 then this item will be a great field sheath and you can keep that handmade leather one as a home carrier. But...If you own a double edge knife or a double edge knife that has a helical polygon grind pattern, yeah it really does exist, then be prepared for a trip or two to your local hardware store and stop by your friendly wine and spirits shoppe for a cheap cabernet sauvignon, this makes the frustrations fade away...1st photo is of the original insert. what is not shown is the velcro pad that i was able to remove.2nd photo is the insert i made from 3/4 inside diameter Schedule-40 PVC.3rd photo is of the Boker Knives Applegate-Fairbairn with the Besh wedge blade profile.4th photo is of the tip, dorsal view. pay attention to the grind lines of the blade's tip.5th photo is of the tip, ventral view. again attention is to the grind lines of the blade's tip.6th photo is of the knife and sheath. the knife is 10 3/4th inches long and the blade is 5.75 inches long from tip to base of the guard.so i hope this helps and i encourage you to give Spec-Ops Brand a try.

Nice quality
like all the Spec Ops Brand stuff I have. I've been using their gear for years. I just wish they didn't stop making things in OD or I'd still be using more. The sheath is great though and fits the TOPS Pasayten that I needed it for and my Spyderco Temperance II's also. The kydex insert is loose for both knives but it's a general sheath so of course it's going to be and I can heat and shape it if I want. I haven't decided. I need one in OD though, so it doesn't look like I'm going to get one in that.

Well-Designed, Strong, Secure
I'm very happy with my Spec-Ops 6-Inch Knife Sheath. If you're wondering whether or not your knife will fit it well, it looks like nearly any 6-inch knife - unless it has an unusually wide blade - would fit very well. The kydex inner-sheath looks roomy, and the strap that secures the handle can adjust to fit thick or thin knife handles. The materials (cordage, velcro, snaps, webbinb) feel very strong, and the extra pocket on the front is well-suited for flint, paracord, a whetstone, or any other small item. I can barely fit a Glock 17 magazine into the pocket.I have my best knife in the shealth, and I'm totally confident that my knife won't fall out or get damaged. Good product.

Made of great quality...
This thing is a tank, great quality and very well made. It was too big for my 6" MK3 MOD0 knife, the insert was too thick and made my blade rattle and slide around... Spec-Ops customer service was very quick to respond and inform me that the plastic insert is a thermoplastic that could be remolded (kydex) so I used a heat gun to apply heat to certain areas and molded the top to keep my blade from sliding around. After doing that, my blade has a custom fit, I recommend doing this no matter what blade you use because you can literally get a perfect fit for your knife and it can be remolded over and over again. My only gripe is that it is a little too big for hiking. I'm going to use it anyways, but I could do without the extra pouch on the outside. I also wish that the straps were a bit stiffer to prevent my knife/sheath from flopping around, I get that you can use the cord to thigh-tie but I don't really want to do that.Overall, it's a great sheath of amazing quality and looks to be very reliable.

Good quality for universal knife sheath
It's not true Molle but the stitching is good and it seems strong, I got originally for my BK10 but the jumping is too much to place in the sheath properly and before I got my SOG force as it got good reccommendations and review on Gideon's Tactical for the SOG force knife... So far it holds none of my knives, I got a schrade SCF1M hollow handle with six inch blade, falls right out, as well as the SOG force. Both will be used in stock sheaths I guess but the sheath is good quality; will wait and see how it holds my BK2 ( when I get it) as the BK2 sheath from what I've heard is terrible.
