Great bit of kit to add to your gym bag, I bought these to relieve some pain I was getting in my forearm from standard lateral raises, fair to say they've helped me alot with cable laterals and I don't get any forearm pain now. Very comfy when being used and easy to put on aswel BONUS!

comfy and eliminates unecessary fatigue/grip
I've been using these J Bryant wrist straps for a few weeks now for my back and deadlift training, and I've got to say, they're a great tool for a science-based lifter. We all know that CNS fatigue from grip strength can be a major limiting factor, especially on heavy pulling movements. These straps do a fantastic job of taking that element out of the equation so you can focus on hitting the target muscle.The neoprene padding is definitely a standout feature. It's thick enough to provide a comfortable cushion against the bar's pressure, which btw lets you fully focus on the mind-muscle connection with your lats or traps instead of worrying about your grip failing on the last rep of a heavy set. They feel very secure once you're locked in, and the material seems durable.The reason I'm giving them a 4 out of 5 is a minor design issue. Tbh the triangular buckles, while they look cool, can sometimes get a little twisted and not distribute the load perfectly evenly if you're not careful with your setup. It's not a deal-breaker at all, and once you have it locked down, it's fine. It's just a small point of friction compared to other strap designs.Overall, these straps are a solid buy. They effectively eliminate grip as a bottleneck for heavy compound lifts, which is a key principle for hypertrophy and strength gains. They do exactly what they're supposed to do, and the minor design quirk is something you can easily work around. Shoutout to TNF and keenanmalroy reason i invested in these.

These are so cool
If you suffer from forearm tendinitis and can't do lateral cable raises because gripping the handle causes too much pain in the forearm, then these will solve your problem straight away. These will allow you to continue working on your shoulders while treating the tendinitis. The build quality is very good, and overall, a great product

Good quality but flawed design. Wouldn't recommend.
Would not recommend these straps because they have one big issue. The tightening strap is folding over it self through a metal hoop across the opening. This and the placement of the brand stitching is causing the neoprene padding to be caught and fold onto itself as you try to put it on. This is causing the padding to fold into a bad position making them uncomfortable to wear and damaging the padding. Get one that the strap goes across the opening without folding and sliding on itself to avoid this issue. The overall quality is actually good, hence the two stars.

Super! Can’t live without them
These wrist/ankle cuffs are fantastic value for money! Super comfortable and incredibly effective for isolating specific muscle groups. They allow me to focus entirely on my mid delts during lateral raises without needing to grip a handle, so there’s no tension in my forearm—just pure work on the delt. They’re perfect for any shoulder raise on the cables, but they’re equally amazing when used on the ankles for targeting glutes and hamstrings. Overall, versatile and well-designed, these cuffs have been a game-changer for my workouts!
