I bought hero cycle and it worked good for 2-3 yrs. After it, battery stopped working. Since it was not in warranty, Hero Customer care Gurgaon told me to replace the entire battery at Rs.19k as they don't repair battery. They refuse to supply BMS (a part inside battery cost Rs.1500) as BMS was to be replaced as per an outside engineer. Hero customer care said that since this battery is imported from China, a part of it cannot be given. It is stupid that a big Indian company can't supply a part of battery and forces customer to buy entire battery.I had now bought a new cycle Indian made at Rs.27k instead of replacing just Hero battery for Rs.19k. I also decided to buy electronic equipments from Indian manufacturer as when problem comes, Indian mfg comes as a great help.
