Fits and works perfectly
It fits perfectly well to my 2005 X3 and works as expected. My old module died and I could not open windows from the driver's side. I've spent a bit of time on prying out the module from the door, and then to get the old controls from an enclosing plastic box. You should be very careful and patient with these two operations, because plastic clips are very brittle and are very easy to break. Other than that it's an easy DIY work saving you money and time
