It’s a brilliant open case phone cover. I still have my protective glass on my 7+ which was put on when I purchased my phone. I’ve had a few cases with the flip cover, but wanted an open case. I’ve had it now since for a while and love it. Yesterday going to my car I dropped it on concrete and it saw it bounce across the broken rough car park! It landed face down... I picked it up dreading to see the screen cracked... but nothing, absolutely perfect to my relief! The case screen which this comes with, feels odd, but you get used to it. Sometimes you have to press down hard, but most of the time it works great. Yes you can open with your fingerprint. I bought the black one last year for my husband and he loves his. Hence why I decided to get this make. Which also was recommended to me by a colleague from work. So I don’t think you can go far wrong with this phone cover.

I always use Otterbox cases on my iPhones and iPads.theyhave never let me down and I have peace of mind that my expensive products are always fully protected. The touch screen works flawlessly with the build in screen protector,it feels like it’s not there at all. It does make the phone or tablet thicker but it is easier to hold as the case is very grippy and a lot harder to drop it.

Bought this case for my iPhone 8 Plus , since I’d already dropped my phone twice , this is the best case you can buy for protection ! Although I hate the built in screen protector, had to remove it due to the gap between the protector and my phone screen, also I removed the excess adhesive with nail varnish remover , just in case anyone is having trouble getting it all off.

I’ve always gone with Otter boxes because I’m Ms. Butterfingers. The only qualms I have are that they make the phone a bit heavy, so reading ebooks is a bit of a slog. And if you get a little speck or dust or cat fur between the screen and protector, you’re going to have a mother of a time getting it open again. Still though, worth it for the protection it offers.

The case on its own is amazing. I’ve read many reviews and recommendations for Otterbox phone cases and it lives up to those faithfully. The one and only massive issue is the built in screen protector. It is AWFUL at keeping dust and dirt out from between the screen and the built in screen protector. It WILL damage and scratch your screen if you do not take the case off and clean it regularly. Not only that but it makes the touch pad work less faithfully. I 100% recommended that if you are buying an Otterbox Defender phone case, TAKE OFF THE BUILD IN SCREEN PROTECTOR and put a different one on. - you can carefully lift it off with with a Stanley blade - Your phone will still fit snugly and it will now no longer trap dirt.

I love otter box... this is the third otter case I’ve purchased. I buy a new one every time I upgrade my phone. They fit well and protect your phone without interfering with its function.

Love it! I have been using the defender for my SE for several years and it has held up the millions of times I (or my two small children) have dropped it. Upgrading to a much larger phone I was initially worried that the case may make my phone too bulky but it's as sleek as can be while offering the highest level of protection. Great colour too. I've replaced the screen cover with one that I already put on my phone due to personal preference but I'm sure the built in cover would work just fine. Defender does not disappoint.

This is my 3rd Otterbox Defender series case over the past several years. Because of their durability, my last 3 phones sustained no damage even after multiple drops, and falling off my car while driving, bouncing around on the side of a busy street before retrieving it! It may seem a little more bulky than other otterbox cases, but it’s well worth the purchase to protect your phone.

I love my new Otter box case for my iPhone 8+. Very feminine but not girly.....purple and pink....two of my favourite colours. Very sturdy. It does make the phone heavier but I needs this kind of protection because somehow my phone is always falling out of my hands😁.

We have used Otterbox defenders since the iPhone 4. I have 2 kids so we have gone through many of them - every time we get a new phone, we get the matching defender. Some people would think it’s a lot to pay and forego a quality case. Every one of our phones have been in PERFECT condition after years- not a scratch, crack, nothing. I will not buy an iPhone without one especially with a farmer husband and 2 very active teens. And I am a klutz. After seeing how many phones friends and family have had to replace for physical damage this is a game changer.
