I guess I have no reason not to give this item five stars. Works the way it is supposed to work. I used MIO as my flavoring (Orange) and the bubbles make it taste more exciting instead of just flavored water. I have no complaints about the fizz since it's all up to me as to how much CO2 I inject. Just as easy to use as what previous posters showing how to set it up and use it. My purchase was not a Prime purchase, but I was very surprised and happy when the Sodastream appeared on my front steps two days early.

My husband surprised me with this because I go through at least three boxes of sparkling water a week. I was skeptical at first — I didn’t think it would taste as good, since every store brand seems to taste a little different. But honestly? I was wrong. We love this thing! This bundle is a great value — it came with the machine, one bottle, and three CO₂ canisters. I was also pleasantly surprised to find out the Terra doesn’t require electricity, which makes it super portable and easy to store if you don't want it on the counter. It’s small and sleek, doesn’t take up much counter or cupboard space, and I usually just keep it tucked away until I need it. One thing - it is pretty tall and doesn't fit under any of my cupboards, so that could be a potential issue for some. The machine is easy to use — loading the CO₂ was a breeze, and SodaStream includes a great illustrated instruction book with lots of tips for making tasty drinks. I played around a bit to figure out my ideal level of carbonation, and now I’ve got it just right. I mostly drink unflavored soda water, and it’s crisp, refreshing, and exactly how I like it. Bonus: -The bottle is dishwasher safe -The machine wipes down easily -There are smaller bottles available if you want extras We’ve also had fun making homemade drinks like mimosas (yes, we carbonated orange juice!), and cherry soda using real cherries. But for everyday use, just plain sparkling water hits the spot. We’ve had it for a couple of months, and we’re still on the first CO₂ canister — even with regular use. No issues with spraying, leaks, or messes. And I’ve definitely already saved money compared to my weekly sparkling water habit. If you’re even a little bit tempted, I say go for it. This thing pays for itself quickly and makes the experience way more fun.

My father loves soda. We used to purchase soda in siphon bottles when there was home deliver; many years ago. Sodastream does a good replacement for the job. It is not perfect but close. This 3-pack CO2 kit was excellent value to start and give it a try. Unfortunately cartridge replacements are very expensive and probable is cheaper to purchase bottle soda which also carries better bubbling. Refiling services are also hard to find, and if you do, it probably are not cheap either.

This is great if you like carbonated water. It pays for itself.
