The design is top-notch. However, the battery concerns and the concerning hollow bolt design (where the battery lives!) are things I would like to see In never versions. But even with those concerns the benefits the core functionality of smart lock and the ability to retrofit existing doors.

Now this is how you make a Product. Was is easy to install on the door? NO! would I install it again if I had another one? YES! This is so convenient. Do you know how annoying it is to carry keys upon keys and if you try to give your key to a brother or sister they lose the stupid key then YOU have to go buy another one for their mistake of losing it in the first place. Ugh but anyways... I love this and yes at times it had a little delay when unlocking but overall would recommend and it comes in other colors so you can match to pretty much any door color you have. Remember to be patient with the instructions and actually read them... or watch YouTube. Use that beautiful brain of yours!!! Overall worth it!!

Life is so busy these days and sooner or later you will lock yourself out of your home. I promise. Or more realistically your kid will, I’m embarrassed to say how many times Level has saved us and my husband. Plus even my 85 year old mom can work the app. I made my husband install them at her house as well. It just makes life sense. This last update made the locks respond even faster. One of doors was tricky and out of whack, a bit challenging to install so we called OnTech and they installed it perfectly and fast. But that was a first we have installed all of the other ones ourselves.

I'd been keeping an eye out for HomeKit Home Key compatible locks, and Level Lock had already been on my radar for being a sleeper smart lock. I went ahead and bought one, and it's been a nightmare. As an electrician, I'm fairly adept at mechanical and electrical things. Remote access never worked outside the home Wi-Fi. Initial firmware update failed. But the lock worked still, so I went ahead. The battery it came with died in about 24 hours, as did the following two batteries I bought. Then finally I got another pair of batteries now having spent an extra $24 on batteries within a week, just to be sure I did my due diligence. Tried every single step in Level's instruction online resources for trying to upgrade the firmware. Several resets etc. In the course of inspecting it while trying to find what the problem could be, I found there was some random tiny seed in the battery enclosure/bolt. I removed the seed. Then on the last attempt to pair it and calibrate, it started sounding like it was struggling and getting errors in the app. For the price point, I'm not down for all this hassle. Certainly not interested in getting the script with customer service. Just do better QA! Don't ship trash!I'll be getting another, more reputable smart lock with Home Key support. I really wanted the Level Lock to work, because I wanted both Home Key and NFC cards. But this went nowhere fast!

This is a seriously premium lock! After an incident including the pet sitter losing our house key it was really important to me to find a smart lock that I could lock and unlock remotely. This has been a game changer! I am not only able to lock the door from my bed at night but I am able to digitally give my pet sitter access to our home! Now there is no key to lose! Installing was easy (even though I was very nervous about it) and I was able to do it by myself with ease. The app feels sleek and well thought out. I’m obsessed with this lock and will be recommending them to all of my friends as they buy their first homes!

I've been trying to change our my front door lock for a while and been wondering about smart locks. I finally bought this and I love how convenient is it. I can just use any smart device, like my phone or watch and it'll unlock the door. I also paired this with Alexa and I can always just tell Alexa to lock my door anytime. I also like how it comes with a spare key, in case batteries dies. The lock itself is pretty sturdy as well. The door doesn't really budge when it's locked and it looks hard to open with force. I would recommend this to others.

As a HomeKit user, this has been really problematic so far. Two days after install, HomeKit integration failed. I was forced to wipe everything and start over, and since then, home keys dont work for random people. Really not impressed. I may have to reset everything a second time. Very frustrating considering the cost. When it’s working though, it’s pretty amazing. Doesn’t matter if it keeps eating itself.
