Special Agent OSO - Whirly Bird

Of all the Oso stuff, this is the cleverest, most durable, and most engaging. The grappling hook lets us set up rescue scenes...Oso to the rescue to save Dottie from a pile of laundry or Wolfie from the inevitable motorcycle wreck you get from the Rapide Command Center. It keeps our 4.5 year old busy for hours.

My son just got this toy for christmas and he loves it. He loves the show, He is only 2, but identified whirly bird immediately. he has dropped it several times and it hast broken yet. if your child is an Oso fan, then you need this toy. and the anchcor part really picks Oso up, just like the cartoon...

My son is 5 and just loves Special Agent Oso. Since the products are limited, he was over the moon at the thought of having his own "Whirly Bird." The spinner on top only works about 10% of the time and the seat eject does not work. I think it's a crime these toys haven't been recalled for blatant and obvious defects. Had we not thrown away the box it came in, I would have returned this product. Don't waste your money. I think the company knew the toy was a piece of junk which is what makes it even more infuriating.

As all reviews mentioned, the seat is broken, it is supposed to eject OSO but it does not work. Apart of that the toy is ok, my daughter loves Oso so that's why I purchased it knowing it has a defect.

I Bought this for my child who is three years old. He loves Disney oso since he was two. Fun and sweet toy

If your kid loves the Disney Special Agent Oso show, this toy's a no-brainer. Really nicely designed, Whirly Bird looks exactly like he does in the show. The sound effects and dialogue from Oso and Whirly Bird are great (Whirly even says "Happy landings" when ejecting Oso) - but even better for grown-ups is that there's an off switch!!! The magnetized grappling hook is a great touch as well.The best part of the toy is the fact that Whirly Bird can eject Oso out of the cockpit, just like the show. My son had to show me how to do it though - it's kind of tricky. You have to make sure the seat "clicks" into place, and then you have to make sure Oso's sitting (not standing) in the cockpit. Then when opening the cockpit, the bottom has to hit the white plastic "trigger" near Whirly Bird's neck. It's all very simple for a 5 year old, but it took me a couple triers to get it right!Overall this is they best Oso toy I've seen - though my son loves the car, too. Can't wait to see the Rapide toy!!!

I purcahsed Special Agent Oso - Whirly Bird and two other Special Agent Oso toys for my son's 3rd birthday and Christmas. Was very dissatisfied that just after opening the unit the retractable string did not retract and the cockpit seat jettison stayed in the down position. I am going to request another one and my rating of "1" star will remain until this unit is replaced with one thats works. Whirly Bird has now been replaced and all is good. The main rotor spins and retracts OSO. The cockpit now jettison OSO. I have upgraded my experience to "5" stars...

This toy is an absolute must have for any special agent Oso fan. My son received this as a gift for his second birthday and has played with it on a daily basis ever since. He is 3 1/2 years old now and after a year and a half of constant play, it was pretty worn out. I finally just broke down and bought him a new one. He was very excited to get a new fully functioning one. It's reasonably priced and worth every penny given how much enjoyment my son has gotten out of it.
