Nerrad Tools NTTAPEXKIT1 Tapex Tap Wrench Kit, Black

I finally got fed up with my old tap spanner, tried others which didn't work and took this out of the wish list and into the van. It is awesome, pricey but awesome. It comes with 4 different heads for both 1/2 & 3/4 to fit all taps and tap connectors as well as all monoblock sizes and all the bells and whistles. If your reading this you already know what it comes with and that you want one and all I can say is its not failed yet. Definitely pricey but I would say it is worth it. I watched a few YouTube videos to get my head around the different attachments but once you get going it's pretty simple really. It has helped in some very tight situations and made changing taps and repairing leaks a lot quicker

I couldn’t have done the job, in such a confined space without this tool. The only drawback, it’s a bit pricey.

Buy this product it is well worth the money easy to use and overall awesome.

It does what it says

I'm a plumber and use these tools on a regular basis. They've got me out of quite a few scrapes...for example when there's not enough space under the tap retaining nut to get a normal tap wrench on, the Nerrad universal joint allows you to get around corners. The ratchet mechanism makes quick work getting the nuts off. Most of the time this kit will be overkill but when you get to those jobs where the tap has been leaking for years and the retaining nuts are totally rusted up, this kit will sort it in minutes (a job that can take hours otherwise). A big problem with this set is that the sockets provided aren't long enough to reach the tap retaining nut on taps with a long securing bolt. This happens quite often and renders the kit useless in these situations. I then find myself sat on the kitchen floor with the most expensive shiny set of tap wrenches in the world...the customer is impressed with the kit, but it's useless in these situations. I then revert to the Silverline 355555 Tap Installation Tool. It's less than a tenner and is good to fall back on. I highly recommend it. Don't be fooled into thinking this is the only kit you'll need. It's great and will get you out of a lot of difficult situations but is often foiled by a nut on a long bolt. Carry two kits with you! Glad I bought it and would recommend it to professionals. It's a bit pricey for DIYers. Take the sponge out of the carry case and you can fit all of your other tap tools in it too.

After struggling to fit some bath taps in a tight spot as a last job on a Friday which ended up taking hours. I finally gave in and bought a set. Do glad I did. Used it a few time since I bought it and so glad I did. Makes life so much easier even when you have space.

Yes other tools will do the job, yes some are cheaper but if you are like me want the best, everything in one place and efficiency you will not be disappointed. Like power tools yes you don’t have to buy festool you can buy cheaper power tools that do a similar job but they don’t do the same. This set is very well made reminds me of snapon or teng tool quality and the extendable parts make getting into very tight places a breeze. I was unsure because of some of the reviews but this is my Best Buy in a long time.
