It fits absolutely like a charm, snug and flawless! The color match is perfect—nothing short of ideal. I’ve had zero issues at all; everything just clicks into place. If you need one, this is the real deal—worth every penny with a price that truly can’t be beaten.

It was a perfect fit for my 2005 Dodge Ram 2500 diesel. The color match is excellent. The problem with the old one was that the original style bulbs melted the housing. I am hoping the LED upgrade will be cooler. These lights have not worked ever since I bought the truck in 2014. BTW to remove the lenses, you MUST take them out at the pivot point first. Use a pick tool or very small screwdriver and pop them out one side at a time to access the removal screws (t20 bit) that hides under the lenses. The front clips come out just fine. Leave the original rear clips in the truck and just unscrew the clips from the new one and chuck them in the trash the old ones that remained in the truck will thread on the new screws just fine, or use the old screws. The reason for leaving the old ones in is that they fit into a plastic housing and they are in there so solid you will likely tear apart the plastic housing to get them out and now have another part to replace unnecessarily. Trust me,,, just use the old clips. The trip computer/compass portion comes out of the old unit with 4 Phillips head screws. Super easy, just don’t over tighten them.

Would have been 5 stars but had an issue with the wire harness that came with the product. After the plastic broke holding the pins for the light after 25 years of service I decide to try and glue the piece back and at the same time I bought a LED conversion harness to install LED bulbs. Swapped out the OEM harness and replace with the new LED harness and now had leds lighting up the cabin. They are bright....lol. Not sure if it's an option for my 2005 Dodge Ram 1500 SLT but when I lock the truck with my remote all the dome lights dimm to off but when I Plug-n-Played the new part the lights no longer dimmed after locking. They just stayed on which is not a good idea as those LED bulbs get HOT fast. So, I simply swapped out the harness that it came with and replaced it with the conversion harness. Plug-n-Play again and works perfectly.

This works great as a replacement, may need some of the existing parts from the old one, but fits very well and works great.

This Overhead Console over-all was just OK. The only great thing I can say about this product are the LED lamps. They are extraordinarily bright as compared to the factory bullet bulbs. The greatness ends there. The plastic console housing feels light and brittle. The lenses are made with cheap plastic and the pivot arms broke off on one of them during installation. I had to use the original lenses from my old console that fit perfectly. The metal inserts to hold the front of the console had wings that did not extend out wide enough to make a tight grip from the console to the ceiling. And finally, the wiring was changed where I cannot individually turn on either spotlight. I have to roll the thumb wheel on the dash to turn on all of the cabin lights and then I can selectively turn each spotlight off or on. The original console, I could turn on either light at anytime without rolling the thumb wheel first. I was disappointed at the material quality but the fit seemed perfect. I would not recommend buying this product.

Works very well and very happy with it. I ordered with the LED lights upgrade. And when I say they are bright, I mean, they are bright. The only difference between this product and the factory part on my truck is, Your key has to be in the accessory position or in the on position for the lights to work. At first, I thought this would be an issue. But after having it for a while , I like it that way , because you can't leave the light on by accident , which i've done in the past and drained my battery. Be careful taking the old one down. Because the mount behind the headliner can be damaged. But that has nothing to do with the new part. Very happy with this product.

Item was packaged nicely. Was a perfect fit for my 2004 Ram. Works as intended!

The only saving grace about this assembly is that it is a color match of the existing one in my 2005 Dodge Ram 1500. Other than that, the lights do not work properly in that they do not come on when you push the light. It is only when the door is open and the roller switch is turned up. I, even ordered a second one to see if it was the assembly, nope. The second one did the same thing. Fortunately, I had ordered some replacement bulbs for my entire truck, interior, license plate etc and once I installed those in the new light assembly it work as the old assembly did but much brighter. So no, this is not a fit for the electrical system in my 2005 Dodge Ram 1500.
