They work and are low cost

Good for constipated baby that can’t have many other meds yet

I didn't realize these were for kids and now the smaller size makes sense: for an adult, these aren't as effective because they are not standard size but for a child, these are ok although not completely dependable. It really depends on your child and how constipate they are and/or how far along their waste is in the GI tract. But they are simple and not harsh and have no ingredients to scare a parent besides simply glycerin (and sodium stearate).

These do not melt down. My child had a bowel movement hours later and passed this suppository solid still in tact. Didnt even remotely break down. I basically inserted a piece of plastic in him. Thank goodness it came back out.
