This was an impulse item, but now that I have them, I love them! I bake Jim Lacey’s “my bread” all the time, & this is a great way to transfer your shaped bread into the scalding hot Dutch oven without disturbing it or burning yourself. Easier than using parchment paper & no worrying that if you plop it in wrong that you’re going to have parchment inside of your bread. I have used them at 480 degrees- & no issues, no burning or smell. I sprinkle a small handful of rice flour mixed with coarse polenta/cornmeal before putting my bread dough on it. Gives the crust a little crunch & flavor and when finished baking, the bread just slides off. I rinse them off and dry them before storing them in my Dutch oven for the next time. Oh- and they come with little clips to hold them rolled up when not in use. Well thought out & nicely made.

These have worked great for my sourdough baking!! Makes it easy to move my dough into my dutch oven & out! They do get hot after taking it out of the oven so you still need to west oven mits when touching it but they cook down within a minute or so. They are so flexible and easy to store! Also so easy to wipe down & clean, or just throw in the dishwasher! I use them every week & have for a year and they are the best!

I really like not burning my hands trying to get my bread or muffins out of the pan. Easy to lift, not hot on hands and does not stick to your food. Easy cleaning, Just wash in mild soap and dry. Great for large size breads. Great quality materials.

These are great, I use regularly. However after my first use, one side of the handle part got burned and is forever that way. This may be user error, but the other side nor the second sling have had any issue. This had had zero impact on performance.

These are great for when I bake sourdough loaves. They keep my bread from sticking to the Dutch oven and are very easy to clean. I love that they’re reusable and less fussy than parchment paper too!
