Finish quickly
This was a story that I wanted to end it was so mixed up I lost interest in it. Not the usual Dirk Pitt that keeps your interest.

Classic Clive Cussled; credible plot, engaging story (cought out by history); passes a couple of hours on a train/plane
This was my first Clive Cussler novel - I bought the paperback at Birmingham New Street station 1979. Story set in 1988 around the South African struggle for majority rule, with a hangover from germ warfare in the early 1950s. Standard Clive Cussler plot - well-built, interesting characters, moments of what today's film censors seem to label as "mild threat", and as usual the novel draws from Clive Cussler's interest in water. This story is so much more coherent than those which dribbled out after Cussler seems to have outsourced the writing to Paul Kempikos (or whatever his name was). A similar comment applies to "Raise the Titanic"", where the story about raising the Titanic intact was ruined in 1985 when Bob Ballard found the wreckage in two huge chunks on the Atlantic floor. "Vixen 03" is a classic Clive Cussler novel and is worth the cost of a download. Mike

Two strands, one story
This is almost two stories in one. Of course all the strands come together in the finale, but at times it is like reading two separate stories. Both strands are enjoyable enough to keep you turning the pages.

A Great Read.
What can I say about Dirk Pitt that hasn't already been said, the book is full of twists and turns, a thrill a minute, my kind of books.

CC rules! :-)

This is the first Cussler novel I ever read - thanks to my sister who bought it for me as a present over 25 years ago. I was intrigued by the subplot upon subplot and found it almost impossible to put down once I started reading it.....Now I have it on Kindle, it still holds the same mystery and intrigue and was a pleasure to read and catch up with 'old friends'

Clive Cussler excels his own standards. The book is a page turner. Eerily Cussler and is QD ring a bell today - in the times of the Covid.
